Oh my goodness, how did I wait so long to come eat here?
This place is a tiny, very Japanese styled (super simple and modest) Japanese fried chicken (Karaage) place! They have different flavored chicken that you can choose from in three different portion sizes. They have one chicken that is called the Chef Special and it is a glawe sauce with hints of tomato, soy sauce, and spices. The dry chicken comes with a sauce of your choice-- soy sauce or a chilli mayo. Whatever chicken you get, it is fried freshly so it will be crispy! They also do a bento for 10 Euros which is what I go for!
The bento comes with a chicken of your choice with rice and several Japanese side dishes of the day--usually something with egg, cooked legumes with glass noodle, pickled ginger, seasoned green beans, and two fresh tomatoes. The food is fresh and portion size is perfect. They also serve different rice rolls and many drink options, including Japanese tea!
The service here is incredibly warm and they speak English, French, and Japanese. The lunch rush comes and goes quickly. The place does also a great job for take out. This place is just perfect. read more
