Since then I always remember being nervous going to dentists or anything related to it. But since i got my braces done here, I've had such a blast every time I visit my orthodontist. And when I needed a dental implant, I decided to book my appointment here as well. The slowly I also change my dentist to this location. They have two locations. One in Keizersgracht and it is like the Apple Store of Dentistry. Free wifi along with iPads and iMacs for the guests to use. Everyone is extremely friendly and I was talked down to like most of my experience with dentists. The other location is their original location on Lassusstraat. And it's a cozy location also with wifi minutes the iPads and iMacs. My experience here has been wonderful. I can't imagine going anywhere else for any dental care. I'm not commissioned to write this glowing review. I'm just extremely pleased with all the services they've provided. During all my treatments they always keep me informed of what to expect and what they do to my teeth. I'm one of those patients that always want to know when something is done to my body and why things are done certain ways. And they're so informative and always helpful. Seriously, I'm glad I found them. I owe my smile to them. ;-)

As someone who has lived in multiples places in the world I know how important it is to have great dental care. When my relocation agent had enrolled me at the PC hooft tandheelkunde I wasn't convinced. I thought that this would be overpriced dental service because it is on the famous PC Hooftstraat which we all know as the most expensive street in the Netherlands. However I was pleasantly surprised when at my first appointment I met my dentist Tuja who must be the sweetest, empathetic dentist I have ever met. Not only is she great at her job she also really understands how some diseases effect dental care and therefore how to help you best. She must be the most customer friendly person I have ever met and my job is to always think of the end consumer so that is saying a lot. As a bonus they send you a text message to remind you when you should make a new appointment and to remind you a day before your appointment that you have to go again. All in all going to this dentist isn't a punishment anymore.

When I arrived at 3:45 (I like to be early), the receptionist told me I missed my scheduled time at 3:00pm. I was shocked, as I am typically a very organized person who lives in Outlook and seldom do I make a mistake with appointment times. I explained this to her, and was met with deaf ears. I was traveling the next few weeks for work, so said I would call back another time to make an appointment. I was shocked when a few weeks later I was sent a bill for 62,00€ for the appointment I never had. I called to question the invoice, and the receptionist said she would look into it, and call me back. I never received a call back so assumed it was a mistake. A week passed and I receive another bill, at which time I called back to explain the outlook error and that it could have been their mistake, or mine, but it wasn't fair to charge me for the appointment. I could understand if I just didn't show up, but I was there, 15 minutes early for the appointment I had in my calendar. Next thing I know, they sent my bill to a collections agency, and I was charged 92,00€. I opted to pay the fee (cursing their name), so I would not have bad credit. As I hit "send" on my bank log in page, I vowed to tell every friend & colleague about this experience, as I do not feel, under the circumstances that I should have had to pay for a service I did not receive. I have obviously found another dentist.
