My family came to Layaly Beirut for lunch after driving to Interlaken from Zurich to see the nearby…read morelakes. It was snowing outside and we were hungry after our drive, and we found that the food here was just what we needed to continue our trip.
For a family of five we ordered three skewer platters (two chicken and one beef kebabs). Since we were particularly hungry, I think that we would have benefitted from ordering another plate or two (each plate came with two kebabs), but it was all delicious! We especially liked the bread that they provided, and I enjoyed the hummus and baba ghanoush as well. The meat was very tender and soft, and the wait staff was also very courteous. After a few days of eating European food, it was nice to just eat some chicken and rice.
I won't be returning to Switzerland for a while, so I unfortunately won't be able to come back to Layaly Beirut, but I leave this review here so that others may try the tasty Lebanese cuisine served at this establishment.
