Out of the 15 people in there maybe 2 people had masks - the person sneezing all over the place most certainly did NOT have a mask on. This gas station was reasonably priced and had everything inside you need for your trip wherever. It is nothing spectacular. So why the 4 stars for a typical experience? The view. You stand pumping your own gas and stare at the beach and the water. The pumps did have the tab to leave the pump open without holding the handle, which is awesome, in my opinion. My most recent visit, no one was on the beach, but just looking out at the Gulf of Mexico with a boat going by was the perfect momentary distraction. It was wonderful. Great place to stop for the necessities and get a great view.

I've had jerk chicken from several places and I must say this does bring back the great memories of my childhood. I keep going back every Friday and made it a tradition that no matter what, at 7pm I'm heading to that spot... I've brought along some friends that are chefs and they've told me that this is some very good chicken. Well enough said, if you're looking for something to do on a Friday, don't hesitate to stop by A&J minimart and have some jerk chicken and you can by beer inside and enjoy it by the grill... very laid back and great people... Also don't go too late because they will run out of chicken lol -big drip

So when I went inside the store I asked one of the clerks if that was her vehicle and she replied yes because she's disabled. But it turns out she's also one of the managers it should not have customers and people with severe disability walk further to the store than she does. When I pointed that out to her and suggested that she should lead with example she just gave me a nonchalantin "yeah, I know" and left it with that.

I want to try the Mac and cheese, the jerk chicken and the oxtails again.
