Arriving without a reservation on a Saturday, we were seated without a wait; service was welcoming, quick, and very friendly. Tip: The starter we chose (with advice from our server) was the steamed mussels. As our server had said, we found that a single portion was more than enough for two to share. We also enjoyed several cocktails with our meal that day; my favorite by far was the Pumpkin amuse - delicious! For our main, we shared the fillet of ray (tronco rodaballo). This dish was beautiful to look at, with a taste profile that bordered on distilled awesomeness :-) Bottom line: Fabulous views, excellent service, and wonderful food made our experience here one that I look forward to repeating. While the prices for bread, wine, and coffee were a bit on the high side, the overall cost of our meal was more than reasonable given the quality of the food and the service.

So, essentially, it was supposed to be a kind of deposit. After barely two hours, it suddenly started pouring with rain -- something, of course, that nobody could have predicted. The large number of people who were there all rushed to the restaurant to take shelter. It was very chaotic, and it took quite a while before we were offered a table. At first, I could understand the situation, but apparently it was very difficult to figure out which table to give us. Keep in mind that the restaurant wasn't even half full. We then patiently waited for someone to take our order. Again, this took quite some time, but given the chaos, I was still willing to understand. Our food arrived fairly quickly, followed shortly afterwards by the bill -- even though we had not asked for it. When I asked whether this meant we were expected to leave, I was literally told: "If you're not eating or drinking anything else, yes." Our drinks weren't even finished, and I had literally just put my knife and fork down after finishing my meal. We were simply told to leave and sent out into the pouring rain. I honestly cannot accept this. This is not how you treat paying customers. When you pay this kind of price, you expect at least some friendliness, hospitality and decent service. And then, when we went outside, we were also told that the €15 towel deposit would not be refunded after all. This was clearly stated differently in the information we had found online. So the information provided on their website is misleading. In the end, it turned out to be a very expensive day. Of course, we cannot blame the beach club for the rain -- that is something nobody can control. But the way we were treated afterwards was completely unacceptable. Needless to say, they will not be seeing us again.

We booked a table for 5 people but had a friend wanted to join us at the last minute, it took a lot of convincing to get him into the table. When you first walk into the door, they lead you backstage to see where all the performers are getting ready for the show. It's my first time seeing a circus show backstage like that. They give you little snacks and drinks as they walk you through the tour. I remember they gave me a ticket, similar to the old school ones you get at the fair, then asked me to eat it at the end. Turned out it was made of potato chip. Very interesting!!!! Then once you get to the top level, everyone get a rose. At the table, they will slowly bring out all these small dishes and appetizers. There were so many, I couldn't remember everything but they were delicious and unique. After you are done with all of those small dishes, you will be move to the main room, downstairs have start having the main courses there while watching the show. I believe, the owner of Cirque de Soleil helped create this restaurant so the show here is pretty similar to Cirque de Soleil. The experience was epic, they have 2 stages, one for the acrobatic acts and one for the singers. The singers and dancers also will come around to all the tables. The bar person was accommodating even though I did not speak good Spanish.
