Sunday April 21st, 2024. I went to see a doctor at this walk-in. The doctor is a Asian female in…read morearound her 30th. I've had a nasty cold which turned into a nasty cough for a month+ now. The doctor kept selling puffers (with steroid) to me and insisted I had seasonal allergy. Totally ignored the fact that I had began with a cold. (I got suspicious to a point that I think she is doing big pharma puffer sales as a side job.) Then she said without an X-ray, she cannot prescribe antibiotics or I can go to the hospital emergency. (huh??) I cannot believe how incompetent recent doctors are. It must have been the deterioration of the medical educational system. I, however, meet a really good doctor at this walk-in on a separate occasion. So it really depends on luck.

A colleague of mine recommended this clinic to me. I've been here at least 3 times now. My last…read morevisit was not pleasant at all. A couple of weeks ago I followed up on my test results and I spoke to someone at front desk. She had disclosed that I was tested positive for something and was going to fax the prescription to my pharmacy after 2hrs. She even verified my full name and the day that I came in for the test. A few hours later I called my pharmacy to see whether they had received a fax from this clinic and I was told they haven't. I called my pharmacy the following morning and again they told me that they did not receive anything. The following day I sent the clinic a fax to disclose my conversation with the receptionist and also gave the pharmacy's fax number again. It's been two weeks since I've heard anything from the clinic. Yesterday i decided to drop in myself to figure out what was happening and I was getting worried. During my visit, the doctor told me that my test results were clear and there wasn't anything wrong with me. However I told him multiple times that someone at front desk confirmed with me that I was tested positive for (cannot publicly disclose). I was furious and not impressed with the lack of professionalism someone at front desk had showed me. The fact that she misinformed me is actually a huge concern because she has caused stressed on me and she doesn't know that a small mistake could result into a serious matter. I only came here a few times because I work long hours and can't find the time to see my family doctor. But if you can, try to stick to seeing your own doctor because their staff is lacking in professionalism and can risk providing wrong information, which happened in my case. I'm just happy that I saw my own lab results. This time I read it myself so that I could see solid proof that I'm healthy otherwise. Beyond disappointed and still disgusted.

I am a patient of Dr. Backley for years, for me personally he is much better than any other…read moreurologists. Honest and straight forward person with huge experience in his field, you must definitely trust to. I would honestly say, he saved my life with my high grade bladder cancer. Very disappointing to read bad review, probably some details are missing. For me he is the best in a world!!! Leon Thornhill, On.

Dr Buckley is one of the worst urologist in Canada ,I don't recommend him to anyone ,based on…read morethe very bad experience that we had with him.He was seeing my husband for 13 years ,the reason for my husband's first visit was because he had hematuria,Dr Buckley diagnosed him at that time with benign enlarged prostate,he started treating him with Avodart since 2002,the gross heavy haematuria continued to happen during the years,my husband was smoker and smoking is a common risk factor for causing bladder cancer, Bladder cancer is 2-6 times more common in smokers than in non-smokers. Most bladder cancers occur in people over the age of 50 and above,Bladder cancer is about three times more common in men than in women ,Bladder cancer most commonly presents with symptoms of hematuria (blood in the urine), either visible or microscopic . It may also cause irritative lower urinary tract symptoms including urgency, frequency, discomfort with urinating, and incontinence.Despite all these symptoms Dr. Buckley kept his focus on the prostate, the PSA count kept increasing over the years and the prostate doubled it's size, still he did not do anything.Last year my husband's health started to deteriorate ,he visited his family doctor on the month of May because he had a heavy gross hematuria ,the MD started treating him with antibiotics thinking of urine tract infection, two months after things started to go worse he was seen by Dr. Buckley, first time he did cystoscopy without biopsy and he couldn't see any thing, after one week he did another cystoscopy / biopsy with full anesthesia, and after my husband was done with the procedure he comes to tell us that the case is bladder cancer stage IV which already metastasized out to the lymph nodes. I am sharing this story with other patients so they maybe become aware and never put their trust in one person, always seek second opinion, the fact that he was the head of the urology department made us trust him 100%.Last November my husband passed away after four months difficult battle with bladder cancer. If an architect makes a mistake, he grows ivy to cover it. If a doctor makes a mistake, he covers it with soil. If a cook makes a mistake, he covers it with some sauce and says it is a new recipe.
