I am writing a review regarding an ethical issue related to realtor employed by this brokerage -…read moreLisa Dias. I am a single mother with 9-year old autistic daughter for whom I use a tutor to assist with her schooling. In an attempt to pay her tutor on 2 transactions, I accidentally sent money to Lisa Dias. When I noticed the error on 09/03/23, I promptly called Lisa to explain the situation and what the money was intended for. She informed me that she saw the transactions and had her bank reverse the transactions. I profusely thanked her and ended the call. I followed up with my bank, who shared that they only had a record of her accepting the money and no record of the money being sent back. I quickly called her back to inform her of what they told me, only to discover that she had blocked my phone number. It seems that she had no intent of returning the money for a special needs child and I have given up the hope of getting it back. However, I simply want people to be aware of the character of this realtor. She had every opportunity to do the right thing, both when she first received the money and again when I called her to make her aware of the error. This is an attempt to shed light on what is the very definition of unethical and unprincipled behavior.
