From the very first call I made to Abilene Birth and Doula Associates, looking for an OBGYN recommendation, Sabrina was helpful and able to match me with one who could meet my specific needs. Once we met in person she was spent a significant amount of time getting to know me, answered any questions and addressed any concerns I had. She is very well connected to the birthing community in Abilene and surrounding areas and is a great resource for information about local hospitals, doctors and midwives. I was able to text or call her with any questions that came up and she always responded quickly and thoroughly. She was with me from my very first contractions and was an amazing help, both physically (counter pressure on my low back was key in pain reduction!) and emotionally during my unmedicated labor. She also helped guide my husband in ways he could help and made him feel like an important part of the experience. I had to have a previous root canal redone and Dr Fike found I had another root that couldn't be seen with the naked eye. His specialized microscopic equipment found the remaining root which looked like a tree with branches. It had become infected and he fixed it. What really amazed me was that he did his work without removing the existing crown. Highest of recommendations. They even gave my wife a rose as we departed.
