I had a large amalgam filling changed out on April 1st and am pleased and relieved to report that he is the gentlest dentist that I've ever had. It took barely an hour to replace the filling and the entire procedure was painless. He was calm as he worked which helped me calm down, and his assistant was a Pro with the suction tube. Not once did I have to gargle and gasp to bring attention to rising "water levels". So now I have a fabulous new white tooth where the dull grey one was and I'm no longer self-conscious about smiling. Change is good, but not too much at one time so I love the fact that Dr. Seminara kept Dr. Dobby's old crew. Yay!

Young, professional, fun, competent and honest McGill graduate. Takes children too and uses the RAMQ cover if no private insurance. Lets parents inside with their child during entire appointment. Very honest, explains every procedure in detail, takes photos and applies newest dental medicine. Has wonderful approach to young patients, makes jokes and accommodates the patient according to need (my son required being warned prior to the local anesthesia and all his needs were met, no surprises, I suggest -discuss a sign for pain prior to beginning). Perfect job on 5 very complex cavities in only 2 appointments! , preventive space maintainer in place too. I thought that not having nitrous oxide (laughing gas) would be a reason for my child to request another clinic. He does not even want to hear about it. His words were " I like Dr Kennedy and am keeping him as my dentist for life, for me and my future children". Big thank you, Dr Kennedy!

Every single visit, no matter what the circumstance or difficulty, was excellent and quite successful. I had my teeth cleaned to perfection after not having gone in 25 years (yes, I know!!). That was a challenge, but it came out beautifully. I had a root canal done, and several other major fixes. Not a single one caused problems afterward. The most urgent problems are being fixed first to save me money in the long run, which I appreciate. What stands out even more to me, though, is Dr. Margossian and her wonderful staff. They are very pleasant, each and every one of them. They know their field of expertise and work hand in hand. It is a light-hearted and very friendly atmosphere that eases your mind. You are not just a number in the contact list of patients. They will remember your name and story, take the time to explain and teach you. I walk out of the clinic (numbly) smiling every time and look forward to my next visit. That is something I would have never thought I would write about a dentist or any doctor. I still have a long journey ahead of me to make up for all the years I have not taken care of my teeth, but I found the right place to do so.

I went to Dr. Collins as a new resident of Montreal, and had no clue for what a great experience I was in for. I had previously gone to a dentist in Chicago and knew that I needed a crown on a tooth that had previously undergone a root canal. Dr. Collins is by far the best dentist I have ever gone to. He made sure to make me feel comfortable and was very aware of how anxious I was about the procedure. He talked to me about all my options, never pressured me and took the procedure at a slower pace that I could handle. His office is gorgeous, and has a panoramic view of Mt. Royal and the canal. It is located on the 9th floor of the Transat Tower which is across the street from Parc Jeanne Mance and Parc Mount Royal. What a view! Completely different than most dentist offices, which resemble dungeons more than anything else. He put on a movie for me to watch while he was doing the procedure, it definitely helped me take my mind off of everything and eased my anxiety. His assistant was super sweet and chatted with me before and after, making me feel comfortable and not worried. I'm sooooooo glad I somehow found Dr. Collins, he made the whole experience painless in every way.

Il m'a précisé que les matériaux utilisés seraient solides et dureraient plus de 5 ans, notamment les dents SR Phonares et l'acrylique Keystone Diamond D. J'ai accepté et j'ai décidé d'aller de l'avant. Pour faire court : on m'a remis un jeu de prothèses qui ne ressemblait absolument pas aux miennes, mais alors rien à voir. Quand je l'ai fait remarquer, M. Nofal m'a répondu que selon lui, ses prothèses étaient plus belles et plus naturelles que les miennes. Quant à la prothèse inférieure, elle tenait littéralement sur une plaque, et quand j'ai soulevé ce problème, il a, encore une fois, affirmé que selon lui, cela avait l'air plus naturel. Honnêtement, je ne savais plus quoi dire ou faire à ce moment-là, surtout qu'on me disait que le travail était finalisé. Je venais de l'extérieur de la province (ou de l'État), donc je ne sais pas ce qui se serait passé si je n'avais pas payé. J'étais vraiment abasourdi et tellement déçu que je n'ai rien dit, j'ai payé, et je suis parti aussi vite que possible, ne voulant pas faire d'histoire. Oui, c'est fou, je sais. Quelques mois plus tard, même pas un an, en mangeant, j'ai senti quelque chose d'étrange avec ma prothèse inférieure. En l'examinant et en enlevant le produit de remplissage doux que j'utilisais, j'ai découvert que la prothèse était littéralement fendue en deux. Et pourtant, je ne l'ai jamais fait tomber, ni maltraitée -- seulement une utilisation normale, en mangeant. Le lendemain, j'ai appelé le cabinet pour expliquer ce qui s'était passé. On m'a répondu qu'il faudrait 400 $ de plus pour la réparer. J'ai alors rappelé les faits : que j'avais payé le prix fort, malgré que le résultat ne correspondait pas du tout à ce que j'avais demandé, et que la prothèse n'avait même pas tenu un an. On m'a simplement dit que je n'aurais pas dû payer si ça ne me convenait pas. J'ai eu envie de répondre que je regrettais vraiment d'avoir payé, mais ils ont continué en disant que je devrais voir un autre dentiste pour la faire réparer... et ils m'ont carrément raccroché au nez. She was so sweet, social, and thorough. Not only that, she kept me well-informed of everything she was doing and why. The best part of it all is that I don't think I even shed any blood, which I ALWAYS do due to sensitive gums, they didn't even hurt afterwards. She gave me a great cleaning and polish, then Dr. Bautista came in to verify what needed to be done and the steps to come. He is also very kind and understanding, to both, your primary needs and your financial resources. I'll be going back soon for my follow up, and for once in my life, I feel no stress (because, really, who ever ENJOYS going to see the dentist?). I have finally found the right dentist for me, and one that is so close to where I live! Score!

The dentists here, specifically Dagenais and Fox are both very professional, and very knowledgeable. They have modern dental equipment and x-ray machines. I came here for wisdom teeth assessment and a teeth cleaning, and both times I satisfied. They hygienists are also very well trained. If you are interested in getting your teeth cleaned, or have a more serious issue, these guys can handle it.
