The beds are OK - if you can live with the strange Bavarian habit of separate mattresses and quilts. Breakfast is excellent and service is very efficient and friendly. One plus to mention: you can sleep with the door/window to the terrace wide open: it is absolutely quiet. It is also a nice place to sit out on the terrace and it probably offers the best price/quality rate for food. Although primarily Bavarian, you may spot a few lighter plates on the menu (salads, omelet with 'pfifferlingen', matjes, smoked salmon). The chairs are a pain though. You will understand what I mean when you sit on them for more than 30 minutes..

Fritz and Christa are great hosts and have become friends. Their daughters are also helpful with English and techology. The breakfast was the best we had on our vacation! It is also served at 7 am which enabled us to get out the door early for hiking. The restaurant cuisine is authentic Austrian Tiroler Kost and excellent! We had the best Tiramisu ever for our farewell dinner May 30! After hiking all day the good beds provide a sound nights' sleep so we can enjoy the next day!
