The creamy custard in the pastry's center tasted similar to a vanilla pudding, surrounded by a sugary frosting topped with coconut. I loved the notes of cardamom as well. This was sweeter than expected, but I truly enjoyed every bite and could have eaten that custard by the spoonful. The gentleman behind the counter was very helpful as I perused the pastry collection. Nothing stood out to me at first so I asked if he had a recommendation. He asked if I felt like oatmeal. I said sure. He showed me the toppings options and asked which one I preferred. The caramel berry topping made the oatmeal very sweet and delightful. The filtered coffee looked fancy as it came on a board with multiple cups, one for drinking, one with the extra coffee, and two with water. This also took a while to come out.
