We had been buying our coffee from Cafe Zeremonie in the Magniviertel, but I believe we just found our new Roastery! And this one is a lot closer to us! The only sad thing about it, was that it is open only three times a week, so we were successful at our third attempt to finally find it open, and boy, was the coffee "muy excellente"! *chef's kiss* They are also very kind, friendly and knowledgeable, so if you are a coffee novice, or have questions, they are very happy to share their knowledge with you. The other days of the week, they are apparently closed for roasting. So, in my attempt to try and eat/drink at every single cafe in Braunschweig, I can definitely tell you, they had the best flat white I ever had so far in Braunschweig. And they have oat milk too! If you read/follow my reviews, you know I am lactose intolerant. So, if you are looking for the one of a kind, best coffee in town place, look no further! Here lies the holy grail! Das bedeutet, dass bei uns nur Kaffees eingesetzt werden die aus nachvollziehbaren Quellen stammen. Weiterhin tragen wir der Tatsache Rechnung, dass Kaffee ein Obstbaum, eine Steinfrucht ist. Daher weisen viele unserer Kaffees eine natürliche Fruchtnote auf. Wir rösten so, dass der Kaffee keinen schmeckbaren Röstbitter enthält. Daher lässt sich der Kaffee auch sehr gut ohne Milch oder Zucker trinken. Durch eine sehr lange Röstdauer erreichen wir, dass die Kaffees sehr Magenschonend sind. Wir freuen uns auf Ihren Besuch.

The one time, I had bought a suitcase and needed to pick up a cake order on behalf of someone else, and having paid for the cake etc in cash etc, I had asked them to call me a cab, as they could well see I couldn't walk home with a suitcase in tow and the cake and wares to boot. And they very rudely just said no. No excuses nothing. I didn't have a local SIM card and the cafe doesn't have internet, so I was in a bind! Having seen a person in trouble and apathetically refusing to help, just seems plain unkind! Then there was the fact that the other two times I have been there, they gave me a broken glass for the fruit smoothie I had ordered, and they weren't too patient with my inability to speak German. Yet, this place remains a favourite of my sister in law who loves their prices. And like I said, I have tried this place three times now and each time, I have left feeling terribly unhappy!
