About 6 years ago I used to come often to this place and was really disappointed when coming back this time. I'm from Washington DC and I just came from an amazing family reunion in Antalya. This was the one and only nightclub I chose to visit recommended by my hotel four seasons. As soon as I got there, the bouncers would not let me in because they said ""couples only", My wife passed away last year, so I went solo. Nowhere on their web site did it say couples!!! I'm not someone to beat my own horn, but I am probably one most well mannered, most well dressed most cultured man around and I know this because I was raised correct. The bouncers would only let me in if I would pay them US$100 cash, my Uber ride had already left, so I decided to bite the bullet and pay $100 just because I did not have a companion with me but I wanted to enjoy some good music in Istanbul so I took a chance. The ambience was wonderful I was probably the only one tipping staff members with high tips as I crossed them, but it was so unfortunate that I had such a horrible start. What was supposed to be a high end dance club... the DJ was subpar. I was not there to flirt with anyone. I was there to listen to some good music. Enjoy the ambience, and enjoy a couple of drinks. So to the owner and management please know that this was highly disappointing. I never ever give negative reviews but this warrants it. Now, since about a year a new trendy place has opened up and that is Any. It has become the neighborhood hangout, whether it's for brunch, lunch or dinner, drinks or partying. People meet up here now at all times of the day and it is always crowded. Since my best friend lives right above it, I have been here several times each time I visit Istanbul. It has a chilled atmosphere during the day, but at night it suddenly becomes the trendy place to be. Starting with drinks the crowd moves on to a club atmosphere when at 11 all the tables and chairs in the middle get removed and turn into a dancefloor. The DJ plays on Fridays and Saturdays until 3 in the morning, when the lights go on again. There is also a second floor to dine but it is only reserved for big groups. The brunch menu is rich, like any Turkish brunch menu offering a wide range of yummy options. What's great for Tourists or non-turks are two special items on the menu: pork-ribs and Frankfurter Sausage. As a Frankfurter, I of course had to try the interpretation of our sausage. It is definitely not a Frankfurter from a local's perspective but rather a crossover between Frankfurter and Bratwurst with a buttery middle. Served together with pickles and potatoes with red peppers. Like I said, it the interpretation accord to local taste but definitely yummy. The ribs come with a housemade sauce which is a little like barbeque sauce but a little spicier. The drinks menu is also extensive and delicious as well with a variety of cocktails. Do try the cocktail with Ginseng, it is quite refreshing!

Scaming tourists!!! We (2 girls) got into a fight with the waiter because he wanted 50 Lira for one…read morewater, a tea and a beer! (Water and tea are around 5 Lira) the bill was a simple white piece of paper with a handwritten 50 on it. He said they have no menu or anything to show us the prices . . . Luckily there was a big Turkish guy who helped us out otherwise we probably would call the police because the waiter got aggressive and started screaming at us. NO WAY we will ever go back here!
