After a day touring Prague Castle amid the crowds and bustle this oasis of calm was much needed. It is a hidden gem off of a main street access by a set of stairs down two floors. There's a beautiful garden with no table service outside and an interior that would be good for reflecting on what you've seen or working on your computer. There are a couple of plugs available and free Wi-Fi.. I ordered the special of the day which was an Indian curry lentil soup and a gruner veltliner (264 czk total). Soup was almost room temperature but very good. Service is efficient, but not particularly friendly. The ambience is a typical coffee shop vibe with an interesting element of coffee cups. Hanging from the ceiling is decoration.
Two star deduction:
1. indifferent service
2. room temperature/not warm soup read more
