All the great shops are…read moreoff of Istaklal Street, which is way too busy with its big boxy stores that have that same cookie cutter feeling you'd get in most malls. The side streets, on the other hand are the real deal. A truly unique 'cookie' experience. This bookstore is awesome. It even has some English books and comics! BOO-YA! This place is amazing. We walked by, thinking it was closed because the shutter was down. We…read moreknocked and suddenly the shutters start opening to reveal the smiling owner. We Ended up spending over an hour in this gem of a store talking to the owner and listening to records. He demoed records for us and told us stories about each. Great guy and wonderful store!
