Very clean, peacefully quiet. Offering most everything you'd find at a local convenience store. Met Pete, I'll assume he's the owner. Very nice guy. The outside has you fooled. It used to be a full on BBQ restaurant, now a convenience store, and from outside it's hard to tell unless you look really close. I ordered a pizza and wings. Not long at all the items were ready. I killed time looking around the store, so I know what to look for if I need it in near future. Pizza and wings were very much to my liking, taste as good as any other Hunt Brothers. In particular, I have developed a fondness for a particular whiskey made in Fort Worth. This desire to obtain more is what led me to Local Boys. My supplies had run out so I decided a motorcycle ride to Wichita Falls was in order. Upon arrival, I was greeted and quickly guided to the TX Blended Whiskey I had intended to buy. The man running the front (the manager?) struck up a conversation with me about various whiskeys and even made a few suggestions based on what I have enjoyed in the past. I went with a special bottling of some Ranger Creek (also a Texas based distillery) that was quite delicious and interesting to drink. As always, fellow Yelpers did not lead me wrong, and I look forward to my next "Smokey and the Bandit" run south of the border.
