I am not sure what's going on with the trash pick up situation. For several weeks in a row, one of the bins (inconsistently between green or blue) was not emptied, even when all three were out on the curbside the night before. The truck that comes by had been consistent prior to the last two months. You can arrange for bulk item pick up, but need to have the item(s) out early on the day of regular trash pick up. ((But good luck with that - most trash days, there are roaming pick ups that will haul away your bulk item trash even before the actual trash service has come. Talk about Reuse & re-purpose or recycle)) Just an amusing story: one late February, my ex-husband (one of the reasons he's an ex) finally took the Christmas tree out to the curb for disposal as a bulk item (no extra charge BTW) , and aside from judgmental looks from the neighbors, trash service also hauled it away without any extra charge.
