DO NOT TRUST ANGELA REIDEL TO DO YOUR TAXES!!! It's funny that her business card says she's a…read more"SENIOR Tax Specialist" when she has no clue what she's doing. Had I not seen that she was a "senior", I would have assumed she's very, very new to doing taxes. Here's why. She had to keep calling her supervisor to answer questions when she was filing our taxes which should have been my first red flag. My husband has an outstanding debt that I have no obligation to contribute to, so we did an injured spouse so his portion of the refund would go to the debt and I would get my portion. Every other time we've filed our taxes, the injured spouse form has been e-filed with our return, but Angela got on the phone with her supervisor (Carol) who told her to give me the paper to fill out and that I have to send it to the IRS via mail. Angela printed the paper out for me (which has 2 pages to it, I didn't know that) but only gave me one page. I filled it out, signed it and sent it with UPS and tracking records show it was delivered. It's considered an incomplete form because only one page was sent, because only 1 page was given to me. When filing an injured spouse form, it takes up to 12 weeks to get your return (and has been that way the past couple times we've done it) so when it showed on the IRS portal that our refund was being deposited 2-3 weeks after we filed, I was confused because it didn't take long which made me believe the IRS didn't process our injured spouse form and come to find out they didn't because it was an INCOMPLETE FORM. Angela did an amendment (which usually is an extra charge but she knows she messed up so she did it for free, which is the only thing she did right I guess) to add the injured spouse form electronically, and she called the IRS on our behalf and she said that they told her we would be getting a portion of that $7000+ refund. My husband checked the portal to that debt his portion is supposed to go to and the whole $7000+ refund was deposited into that debt, so no, we got absolutely nothing back that we were supposed to which should have been a little over $2000. So if you're reading this Angela, thanks a lot. We have had absolutely no issue with doing an injured spouse the 2 years prior that we filed at HR Block but you couldn't do your job right and messed up. Also something else I should mention. I stopped by HR Block on the Friday before Easter. I didn't think to check Google for their hours because I just figured they would be open. So I went up there and opened the door. Nobody was there and all lights were turned off. So why was y'all's door unlocked?? There is VERY sensitive information in that building and y'all couldn't lock the door before closing for the weekend?? Yikes.

Of course, I went to this location to have Curtis from Liberty Tax service to help me. (I have had back surgery and was in a lot of pain.) Curtis helped me without any problems and assured me that everything would be ok. I was so worried. Then I received a letter from the IRS to prove who I was and to have my other tax forms from before with the amounts from the back tax returns ready for them. I went to Curtis and he helped me through the whole process with me without asking for more money or anything. He was kind, courteous, and had me laughing.
