Not just shopping folks, like listed under the category here, it's fine jewelry and high end watches! They carry timepieces from brands like Cartier, Rolex, Longines, Patek Philippe, Rado, IWC, TAG Heuer, Jaeger-LeCoultre, NOMOS Glashütte and other luxury brands. Perhaps not a very unique men's affection, but I love myself a great quality timepiece and couldn't resist coming by here. Possibly another stop on my way back from Frankfurt is on the horizon, time permitting.

Christ Juweliere is a chain with stores across Deutschland including several locations in Munich that I know of. It's a renown brand that sells quality items and can be found in almost any town in Germany. This disastrous rating from over three years ago just has to be fixed. I don't expect a continuation of service from a jeweler at the airport. If you're buying here it's most likely a last moment gift, and that's the way I look at it. And for that, they offer good selection of fashion and fine jewelry and an array of very nice watches. They carry Michael Kors fashion brand by the way. I was pleased with a friendly Willkommen and glanced at their sale cases briefly, without buying anything. Maybe on my way back.

This is an update to my previous review of Christ Jewelers at the Frankfurt Airport in Germany…read more Upon my review dated 5/1/2018, we were contacted first by Ms. Renata Naumann and later by Carola Jung both of Christ Jewelers. All documents were sent to Ms. Jung where she personally took it upon herself who delivered the documents to the Premier Duty Tax Free office. The duty free tax service said they did not have this information however, and to make a long story short, without the personal assistance of Ms. Jung and others involved in this matter, we would still be without our duty free credit. Ms. Jung is truly an inspiration and dedicated employee of Christ Jewelers, and we cannot thank her enough for bringing this matter to a successful conclusion. We are happy to say that we have received the duty tax free credit as of June 28, 2018. Therefore, we are requesting that Yelp remove my previous review dated 5/1/2018 as no fault rested with Christ Jewelers but unfortunately did elsewhere. Respectfully, M. DeBusk

This…read morelisting is for the store in the Z concourse, which has signage stating "Samsonite" on its right half, and "Longchamp" on its left half (both pay at a common register). This store is named "TheCollection@Frankfurt" on the airport directory website, however, my receipt states "ROLLING LUGGAGE," so there are varying names for this place. I have started a Yelp listing with the name "Samsonite Longchamp Store" because this is what the actual storefront states. Before our trip, I researched the best places in Europe to buy Longchamp. That is, the best places in general, not necessarily duty free. Serendipitously, the Frankfurt airport was named many times on handbag forums, for the best deals on Longchamp. Sure enough, prices on the little bag I wanted, at this location in the airport, were cheaper than even discount stores at home. I bought one bag when I arrived, and loved it so much throughout my trip, I got another on my way home (stopped at the same store). The selection was pretty good. They didn't appear to have every item possible, but had quite a lot just the same. They had more in the back too, so always speak up if you see something but prefer it in another color or size. You never know. Lots of sale items at the time I was there, mostly up front. Decent deals. Made it worth buying two bags instead of just one, in my case. The first visit, Melanie helped me. I confirmed with her that the small size of the Le Pliage bags, are the only ones to have goldtone zipper pulls that match the goldtone snap on the leather flap. She was totally shocked to discover this. I was surprised that I knew this detail and the associate didn't. She was super-informed about everything else in the store, but did not know that the larger-than-small sized bags all have gray-black toned zipper pulls that clash with the goldtone snaps. For some odd reason, only the smallest size have goldtone pulls to match the snap. It was funny to watch Melanie go through all the bags. She kept wanting to see if the larger version in this color or that had goldtone pulls, and none of them did. She could not believe it. (Wish they made their bags match better.) Anyway, Melanie was really sweet and helpful. * * * TIP * * * They normally offer, but if not, ask at the register (before you pay) about duty free paperwork. I was told my receipt had to be for €50 or more, to get 10% back on purchases, but I recommend researching this to be sure. It was not worth the time, in my case, to worry about the hassle.

Purchased a fancy silver Lufthansa pen by pen maker, Pelikan. Upon purchase the cashier never gave…read moreme a receipt, but I thought, "It's a pen...what can go wrong." As it turns out it has a manufacturers defect, so the pen retracts every time you try to write with it. I brought it back, not for refund, but for replacement and they said without receipt they won't touch it. I was able to show them the AMEX charge on my account via my iPhone but they refused to accept it and in front of other customers scolded me for lying about not being given a receipt upon purchase. It's a Lufthansa pen they still sell...even without a receipt or having shown them my account they should have exchanged it. They humiliated, belittled, and embarrassed me and then made faces as walked out, as if how dare I be so insolent to them. Now I have a worthless pen as well as a hole in my wallet where €11 used to be.
