Another great second hand vintage shop on the neubausgasse…read more Good selection of clothes, shoes and accessories here. Also a large leather section. (If that's your thing...) Friendly staff and you're welcome to just pop in and browse if you want. The reason for only four stars is the funk of the second hand shoes. It permeated the whole shop and is just mildly unpleasant. Makes lingering too long not really all that agreeable.

This is a funky little shop that always has purses and/or clothes on sale outside on the street,…read moreusually for €10. They have a wide assortment of T-shirts (for guys, too), and TONS of reworked vintage dresses. The sizing is weird, though - you might see a dress you like in a "medium" but it turns out to be wayyy smaller than you were anticipating. Don't worry, you're not alone/you didn't blossom into a giant overnight, that's just how some of the clothes fit (and I think that's just how it is with reworked vintage). This store gets 2 stars instead of 3 because, among other things, they are pretty overpriced, IMHO. The dresses are all €48, without any 2-for-€80 discounts or anything like that. (The other items in the store are also overpriced, including an assortment of knock-off LeSportsac purses, etc.) Which brings me to my next point.. A lot of their stuff that's not vintage is Made in China, which if you've read any of my other reviews you'll know I have some beef with.. So. That's pretty much it. Overall it's a cool shop, worth a visit, but know that it's overpriced. If you're into vintage (I am), you're likely to find several dresses you like, but only a few will fit, and you probably can only afford like one.

Did you know that Swarovski was founded in Austria in 1895 and is now run by the fifth generation…read moreof family members? I didn't. But my friend and I wandered into this Swarovski store when we were visiting Vienna a few weeks ago, because I had learned something else about the store: it has a Moët & Chandon Bar on the top floor. So we wandered into Swarovski for a couple of glasses of champagne during a day of exploring. But once I saw how beautiful the store was, I wanted to do a little souvenir shopping, too. After all - Swarovski has a long history in Austria, making it a great spot for souvenir shopping I picked up a beautiful necklace and earring set, and my friend picked a Christmas ornament. But they have everything from small trinkets (some small pieces of jewelry were well less than $100) to enormous sculpture pieces costing thousands of dollars. The customer service was among the best during our time in Vienna - very friendly and helpful. So stop by, purchase a glass of champagne, walk around their stunning store, and see if something shiny speaks to you!

Amazing inventory! Exceptional service. So much to choose from - at very reasonable prices.read more

I have been interested in purchasing a nice upgrade from my Apple Watch but the prices were crazy here. I had accepted that I possibly would not be getting one. Then, I came across this shop. The owner was super attentive and was so incredibly sweet. He gave me some water, offered to throw away my trash, and helped me pick out my perfect watch. He also showed me pictures of his family, told me some history about the store, and showed me how the watch was made. Honestly the most sweet interaction I have had ever with a shop owner. I felt very welcomed! The watch is gorgeous as well and I am simply so thrilled I got to experience this.

I went into Wempe this morning to purchase a timepiece. I then inquired if I could obtain 15-20% discount as it is a customary discount level for most timepieces of this caliber. He told me that if I knew so much about his business, then I don't need to purchase from him. It was such an abrupt retort to a normal question during sales. He was right, I didn't need to purchase from him. So I thanked him for his time and promptly left.
