As Rockford area natives, we had an illicit curiosity for the place where some of our former school mates were rumored to have worked at one point. But that was years ago. Turns out that, as far as bars with exotic dancers go, this one is somewhat adorable. Their tiger theme is on point without being too much. They have some really talented dancers. Drinks were good, bartender was skilled, clients seemed like average folks. A lot less weird and creepy than most people probably think. Is that an endorsement? I suppose so. I've been to strip joints that I'd never set foot in again, but this was not one of them. We had a pleasant time and nobody was pushy or gross. Cover for us ladies was $3 each. Not sure what men are charged, if it's the same or more. Drinks were reasonably priced. The music selection was eclectic and entertaining, pretty good vibe overall. It was also not too loud, so you could hear yourself think (as well as the person trying to talk to you).

After being pat down by security I was able to find a seat by Bar that is in the center with the stage behind the bar. The dancers were busy with customers but I was able to grab a few drinks and sit back relaxing. This club was not as bad as I was expecting considering it was busy when I showed up not sure how it's like on a regular day but I would have to come back to check it out again.

When I was younger, we used to go in to look at the novelty items and gag gifts to give to people. As I got older, I didn't frequent as much as I just didn't see items in there I needed or wanted anymore. There comes a time in your life that you don't need another lava lamp, novelty T-shirt, or an ice tray that looks like naked body parts. So it was a surprise to me when I went in there to get some gag items for my wife's birthday to find out that the back third of the store is almost all an adult toy shop. Lingerie, adult toys, etc. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a prude and it didn't bother me, it just surprised me as I don't remember Spencer's ever having that stuff. Sure I hadn't been in there in a LONG time, I just never realized that's what it had become. I've been in there since to get items for St. Pats and a couple of gag items for birthday milestones.

All these negative reviews clearly are doing something shady or thinking with their pants and regretting it because after every dance she asked me if I wanted another. She didn't force me to or not say anything. The club was very nice, the entertainers smelled good, and the vibes were right. Ignore other people, if you're not going to tip, go to a McDonalds. Thanks to the bouncer who gave me and my buddy free admission cards for our next visit, we will definitely use them. Anyway I think it's great when clubs dont have crazy strict rules on how girls look to hire them because every body is different and all guys like different things. Also when I started I was terrified and had never even danced in my life and they were super helpful and nice, if I had started anywhere else I dont think I couldve done it. They really do actually care about their girls here too which is kind of rare sadly at strip clubs. I just wanted to leave a review to update the people who used to say it was "gross" or whatever and that they wouldnt go there and also let girls know it's a great place to work! And for a relatively small club you can actually make a lot! Other clubs I've worked at this size or even a little bigger, you couldn't make half as much.
