I contacted a couple of other laptop repair places in Bristol - to be quoted a very high hourly rate by one, and "I'm too busy to help you" from the other. Compuwave were close enough to my home and work for me to pop in and discuss my problem before I had to take in my laptop. I took my laptop in on my next trip to work, and picked it up again on the way home. The helpful staff explained how they had cleaned out the dust from inside the fan, and they didn't think it would need the new fan, but if it did, they had located the part number, and would only charge me for the part itself if I needed it. I was only charged for an hour's labour for the cleaning too. Top marks! I've never had to have a laptop repaired before, and although I hope never to have to again, I would definitely bring my laptop back to Compuwave.

It was going really slow, had viruses and also had a broken frame that was getting worse every time I opened and closed it ! ... It was falling apart ! I was really worried that it was beyond repair and I would have to get a new one .... I got in touch with Graham from First Computer Repair .. He came round to my house almost straight away ! After fusing I rang excel-it and spoke to Darren. He was extremely helpful toke over my computer from his end sorted the issue I was having with my computer straight away. downloaded the software I was missing reassured me I had no corrupt files and talked me through the whole process at reasonable price. very very happy customer and will be using the company again (but hopefully not to soon :D ). Fast, efficient service, not too pricey, overall very good.
