They were late, which I wasn't notified of until I reached out to them. They showed up at 9:30am. There was a little bit of miscommunication on his end, he was under the impression that he was taking apart the shed we wanted to have hauled away, so when his workers (at least 6-8 people) arrived, he called and said that it would most likely be another $250. He thought that they were going to deconstruct the shed themselves and haul away the materials so they can repurpose it. My husband and I deconstructed the shed prior, which I did communicate to Ralph. So instead of $250, I ended up paying half of the dump fee, which ended up being $375 total) He told me that I didn't have to pay the additional cost and also admitted fault, but I understand that he has to also make money and pay his workers. Also, one of his workers called us "gringos" when he walked up and didn't think we were listening. Which isn't the most polite, but also not the kindest term for caucasians. I didn't notify anyone or Ralph. They were fast and efficient, and did their best to clean up whatever was left of the debris. Ralph was never rude and always very responsive in the few days that we communicated.

I did a project quote on Yelp and Mid Valley Waste was one of the cheapest and had great communication. If I have any friends in Fresno that need something hauled off then I definitely am going to recommend this business to them.

They also stuffed motor oil and antifreeze into the recycling bin. They tried to hide an old propane tank behind a neighbor's trash bin. We watched the security cameras and saw them doing what I listed above. I called the number listed and the man that answered was clearly intoxicated. He told me he didn't do it. I advised him he was on camera and he told me "maybe it was me" He told me after I said I had him on camera that I "contradicted myself 20 times" But again, he was clearly drunk... after a few back and forth not so polite sentences he hung up. I know he was too intoxicated to remember his rude conversation with me but I said it's not a big deal if he didn't want to take certain things. He could have just told us (the owners) instead of stuffing all the nearby bins full and upsetting the whole neighborhood. We simply took the oil to AuotZone and the Propane tank to recycle at HomeDepot. Shame on this business.

I called them again for a small load I needed taken away all of which I moved to my front room for easy takeaway given that we are still dealing with covid. The appointed time came and went-no phone call, no show. Had to call twice before they answered. After a long excuse they said they were going to be up to 3 hours later. Since I had other commitments I told them don't bother. I was already annoyed they hadn't called to advise me earlier they would be late. The text I got that followed said they do not service rude or disrespectful people that I needed to grow up. Not cool... Needless to say I called a competitor who said they could be here within the hour. I certainly will have to pay extra for short notice, however, they were very willing to accommodate my situation.

My relatives used this business on multiple occasions. During the most recent use of their…read moreservices, the owner was more concerned with assessing the value of my family's property and land rather than moving things back to their respective places. He commented multiple times that they would be able to sell their property for hundreds of thousands of dollars and downsize to a smaller home. This was completely inappropriate, especially given that he was only there for the purposes of moving furniture. He also promised that he would come back to complete a job that he had been paid for, and then called later asking for additional money. When told that they would not be having him back to finish moving the furniture for an increased fee, he told my three 80-year-old relatives "good luck with moving the furniture ladies." Would not recommend this company's services to anyone due to the aforementioned predatory behavior and complete lack of professionalism. *edit: I wanted to to add that my relatives followed up with a different moving service based out of Tulare and they were quoted and charged a third of the price that Jimmie wanted to charge them for the same job; $600 instead of the $1800 that they were quoted by Jimmie prior to him attempting to increase the fee for service.
