You drive up to the houses and there is crap everywhere, old docks, campers, rotting old cabins & the river isn't even accessible unless you get the lakeside house. You can walk up to the river but that is it, but it is 2 football fields away. There is trash and stuff everywhere. Rotting dog food, old pool toys, rusty kids toys, are your impression when walking up to the tree haus. If I had brought my children, there is no way I would have allowed the to play on kids equipment. Pillows on the lawn chairs looked 20 years old, full of dirt. The interior to the tree haus was amazing & that is the only reason it earned 3 stars. It was decorated beautifully & was unique. The pool was well maintained in Feb. I was scared to use the hot tub, fearful of insects or reptiles would bite me. However the air conditioner had a loud whine. I texted the owners and never received a response. It was 90 degrees in Feb. really disappointed about that. I do not recommend this tree haus cloud #9, unless you are blind and freezing at all times. The first few pictures are of our view & the previous are from their Facebook page. Spend your money somewhere else. Eye sores everywhere at this place & they do not take care of travelers.

Although it was made law that we could not travel, they still charged me $600 for nothing. If I could give this company a negative rating, I would. I understand they are a small company; however, they are still making money off of hundreds of people es expressed in an email I received from their "Concierge Team." This should be illegal as I did not want to cancel, I was forced to due to the circumstances. All of their customers should get their money back if they were impacted by COVID19. As a small business, they can apply for money from the U.S. government. I have no recourse as an individual.

We will be appealing with Airbnb no doubt - just unfortunate as now there are extremely limited options available and everything has gone up immensely in price. Steer clear of dealing with this company at all costs - they will leave you high and dry whenever it is convenient for them.
