Tried to order The Avenger for 149.99 and substitute the mussels for shrimp but the server said it didn't come with mussels as I'm looking at the menu in my hand. So I asked for shrimp instead of the crawfish, she argues with me asking if I wanted the crawfish subbed for mussels. No ma'am I would like the crawfish subbed for shrimp. To which Kaliyah just stood there staring at me like I had 2 heads. Me not understanding asked again and she said okay I'll get that for. Our food gets to the table and there's a pretty large amount of crawfish so we asked and she said she subbed the mussels for crawfish. Me dumbfounded say that I asked for the mussels to be subbed for shrimp and you said it didn't come with mussels. She tried to compromise by saying she would take the extra crawfish off and put the shrimp on her tab. I said that would work and thanked her, she comes back to ask if we're ready for the tab, I ask for the shrimp and she said she never put it in so I asked for it to go. She comes back in 10-15 minutes with shrimp not Togo and said she put it on our tab for $21 and took the crawfish off. I asked for her to take it back because I'm done by this point. She comes back with the tab and it still has the extra crawfish on it, I'm so done by this point that we just pay for it. Extremely disappointed usually it's good and the servers are nice but I guess not this time.

The customer service was absolutely fantastic and Alex was an outstanding waiter. You can tell the entire staff is concerned with the experience of patrons. Some of the tops of the paper towel rolls were stained and were a turn off. I ordered a seafood boil with mussels and shrimp at the juicy special flavor spicy spice level. Firstly the seafood itself was very fresh and honestly bigger pieces of shrimp and mussels than what fiery crab serves. My friend also ordered a seafood boil juicy special medium with no seafood and only the sides in the sauce. 225 Crab's sauce is pretty flavorful and even has visual herbs in it that you can also taste to distinguish their boil from other places. However, their boil sauce is very very salty regardless of the spice level and the salt becomes more prominent the colder that your seafood boil gets. 225 crabs's spicy level is not as spicy as fiery crab's spicy and I actually appreciate that. The Mr. Burger was really good and proves that they have a versatile menu. They have a good happy hour special with buy one get one daiquiris, but I wish that they had some cheaper mixed drinks on the menu in the $5-$-10 range. 4/5 on Yelp I would honestly rate a little lower like 3.5/5 based on the food but Alex was really a great waiter.

I think they need live music or something to compete with the other seafood spots. The seafood bag was okay! I didn't like the potatoes at all. I've had better in Baton Rouge. We also went around happy hour and got 2 for 1 daiquiris, pretty good. We tried the boom boom shrimp but they tasted like something out of the frozen section. Not sure if I'd return.

We rotate lunch spots for our monthly meetings - this month's choice was The Bayou Affect. I had…read morenever eaten there, but one of my co-workers raved about it, so I decided to give it a try. I called to place the order (4 meals: 2 salmon, 2 pasta with wings) on Wednesday afternoon for pickup on Friday at 11:30 (I also paid for it during the call). Total for four meals: $113.00 I arrived today at 11:38 AM, deciding on the way there that since they opened at 11:30 I would give them a few minutes to make sure the orders were ready to go since our lunch meeting was at noon. When I arrived, I gave them my name and told them I was there for the pickup order. The front person did not know what I was talking about. Another person (I assume the owner) told her that it was a call in, and that the order was on the side of the register (it was). I was told it would be a few minutes. At 11:47, the front person comes to me and asks if I was in a time crunch because they could deliver. I told her that I was and had to be back at 12. At 11:56, she comes back and asks me if I would like to substitute lamb chops for the salmon and there wouldn't be an addition charge. She said they had just put the salmon on the grill. At 11:56 - it had been almost 20 minutes since I had arrived to pick everything up. I told her no substitutions because the people who ordered salmon had dietary restrictions. There was no offer of a beverage while I waited, no additional updates on a time for my order or anything. At 12:12, I finally got the orders, an apology for the wait, and an offer to take a drink on the way out. All of that to find that the pasta was too salty. I didn't even eat most of the meal. If this were not a company-sponsored lunch, I would have cancelled the order and gone somewhere else. This is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. I don't mind waiting for food, but this order was placed on Wednesday afternoon. Today is Friday - there is no excuse for my order not being at least halfway ready when I got there. I will not be returning, and my company will not be ordering from here again.

There was an off smell, sour smell. Good thing they had a small outdoor eating area. We ordered 2 pitas. One grilled chicken and shrimp and one fried fish one. After a while my husband looked at his receipt and notice the fish one said poboy. He notified the guy at the register and he went to the back to correct the order, however when my husband unwrapped it he had a poboy. He decided to keep it since the sign by the register said must check food before walking out of the restaurant. My pita was good, seasoned just right but after a little while the bread was a little sloppy. I'd probably get it fried next time. The onion rings were decent. I'd return but make sure to check my order at the counter.

Now it wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst. I had the A1 burger and sadly could not tell if they even used A1 on it, the beef needed some more seasoning to it. I asked for salt for my onion rings and was told they didn't have any. Prob explains why the burger was so bland. I got the meal which also came with a drink. It was great for the cost because as always, I had leftovers for the next day. Will give them another try since they are right around the block from me.
