I loved my recent stay at the JW Marriott Hotel. It is conveniently located on a small side road next to two main shopping centers and a lot of restaurants and luxury shops nearby. I was travelling for business to attend a tradeshow so I had a very hectic schedule ahead and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of my room. The hotel was able to accommodate an earlier check-in request, even though with a few hiccups (it took over an hour for my suitcases to be delivered and I had to go back to the reception to ask where they were). The front desk is manned by a very professional team and every interaction was handled immediately and efficiently. I enjoyed the perks of their daily breakfast and the variety of both their buffet and a la carte men. The spread was really impressive and offered both sweet and savory option, fresh fruits and an American and European breakfast, all perfectly cooked. My suite was very spacious, impeccably cleaned and decorated. The bathroom was so spacious, I felt like in a movie set. The room service is also very efficient.

I know of this name from the Middle East as they have a number of famous hotels in Dubai and so on. I found a good deal on booking.com and decided to check this out. It was a special occasion and not having stayed in the heart of Frankfurt before, decided to give this place a go. It's a gorgeous hotel and decked out in the opulent style of many posh hotels in the Middle East. Tons of well dressed staff mill about and when we arrived three people came out to meet us and get our luggage and park the car. Once again at reception many staff greeted us and they spoke multiple languages. They gave us a free upgrade which was a nice gesture and took us to the room. The room was really nice with a big comfy bed and floor to ceiling glass with fabulous views over Frankfurt. The rooms were well appointed with a tablet to interact with the hotel and order things etc. The real downside here for me was the breakfast we ordered for delivery to the room. It was missing some of what we ordered and had things we did not order at all. They called the room to ask for one specific thing but when the breakfast arrived it was not what we had ordered. The service here is very friendly and you get greeted by tons of people all the time. However, there is a fine line between good service and perfect service, and this place is far from perfection. When I consider this place in comparison to other top end hotels we have stayed in Germany the coordination seems to be lacking a bit. The location is perfect and right in the heart of the city. I would give the location 5 stars. The lobby bar is great and you can read my review about it on Yelp. All in all a great stay and I would come back here again. A nice luxury hotel in the heart of Frankfurt.

Tons of food options within minutes from the motel. Rooms are clean and spacious for two. When they offered the first floor it was presented as a bad thing but we were actually on the second based on how they count floors and that was perfect to use the stairs instead of the elevator. Highly recommend.

Plenty of pastries, coffee options, meats cheeses, fruit yogurt. Rooms are clean, just a little small but perfect for a brief stopover in the city or if you won't be in your room too much. Beds are comfy and I got a great night's sleep. The bar is open 24 hrs. I didn't check it out bc I was too tired but that's definitely a huge perk. They also serve food, although I'm not sure of the hours. Very convenient location. Very quick/easy walk to the Christmas market, Main River and cute little cafes, and shops. Also very easy walk to the Galleria and Goethe Haus. I didn't interact with the staff too much except when checking in and then again when my room key didn't work and the guy at the desk at the time was polite and helpful. During breakfast the staff was also polite and kept the buffet area nice and tidy. I'd be happy to stay at Motel One again. This review is for my overnight stay on Sun Dec 10th.

It's just 2 blocks away from the South entrance - which you should use because it's closer and safer. Most the homeless drug addicts seem to congregate in the street in front of the main entrance. We had a superior best view room with a superb view of the Frankfurt skyline. The room was small, basic and the fittings were a little dated. The bathroom was small but functional and we loved the rainshower. We arrived very early and we were very happy that the reception staff allowed us to check into our room straight away. The area around the hotel seems really safe, but if you want to eat or shop nearby you have to head towards the dodgy Hauptbahnhof. The bed was super comfortable so this is a good value option for a short stay near the Hauptbahnhof!

There is a top shelf onsite restaurant and room service (see menu pictures). The staff is wonderful as well, and everyone spoke English as well as German. The rooms are quite nice, and include a refrigerator and safe. Next to the front desk, there is a Pantry with snacks, etc for purchase and an ice machine and microwave, which is nice for leftover takeaway. The decor and amenities are easily on par with a full service Hilton. The location is close to shops and attractions. I booked a Viator Rhine river day tour and the pick up points was less than a 10 minute walk away. I was most impressed with my dinner at the Garden Grille restaurant. I typically will search out a non-hotel restaurant for dinner. However, after looking at the menu (see pictures), I chose to dine in. I ordered the mixed fish grill. It had tuna, salmon, shrimp, mixed grill vegetables, and assorted breads and olives. Everything.was perfect. This will now be my go-to hotel in Frankfurt.
