After which they told me to ensure I picked it up the day before. I prepaid. The following week I looked up what time they closed the day I was slated to pick it up as I work far away. I ensured I left work early to be there before their 6 pm closing time. I arrived at 5:26 and upon entering the shop they were shutting off the lights to leave though they specifically told me to pick my garment up on this day. I didn't make a fuss as I understand life happens but I was a little surprised they would have closed up without letting customers slated to pick up their garments know. Upon reviewing the dress at home I was as super surprised to see that they didn't even take the time to steam it. It was a brand new dress upon drop off never worn and upon pick up it looked as if it had been balled up. I must mention that when I dropped the garment off I specifically heard them telling another customer that was disputing their prices that a lot of attention and detail goes into their work as they finish by steaming the garments. Sooooo needless to say I am very disappointed. See image of wrinkles.

It was way too tight around the empire waist and was very intricate and had no apparent way to letting it out (no side seams, etc.). It also needed to be taken up because the straps were too long. I frantically called Lee's on a friend's recommendation and they told me to bring it in and they would look at it. I initially thought the only option was to replace the zipper and give me more room on the sides. A very quick "no" was given to me on that option but they mentioned adding fabric to the back from what was cut off from the straps. I was skeptical but said a few prayers to St. Homobonus (patron saint of tailors and seamstresses, no lie) and left the dress with them. ONLY FIVE HOURS LATER, I call and it's ready. It looks exactly the same and I cannot even tell what they did... it looks absolutely perfect. I wanted to hug the seamstress. It was also quite reasonably priced for the intricate level of work done, the amount done and the narrow time frame in which is was done. I will forever trust them to handle my clothes. You should absolutely let them tailor your clothes.
