I've never visited the shop but I've used their website for mail order a number of times. They offer some amazing bargains, in general their prices are usually lower than most other cycle shops/websites. They are quick and efficient and are also more personable than many of the other well known mail order cycle retailers. I highly recommend their on-line service. read more

The five or six times I've been into the shop, the staff have been dismissive and at times unfriendly. As it is my local bike shop, I try as much as possible to support it against using the online retailers - that seem to be putting an end to so many smaller businesses. But now I simply won't be going back. There is a great range of stock in the shop and the potential to be a really great place but with the attitude the staff have towards customers, it really lets it down. There also seems to be a lot of miscommunication between the shop and workshop, with regards to pricing (being quoted one thing, and being charged a significant amount more). As someone who cycles on a budget, this is a sure fire way of losing customers. Would not recommend. Good selection and professionalism but extremely overpriced. £50 for labour to change a brake on top of £15 for the part is just outrageous - I know it couldn't have taken more than an hour to do because I received the collection text message at 10:00.
