WARNING: I want to like this place and give it 5 stars since it's a chill place with the games, but I'm pretty sure the credit card that I used here ended up getting multiple fraud charges on it 3 weeks later. Fortunately, only the 1st charge went through and my bank contacted me immediately to prevent the following 4-5 charges. This seems to be a recurring issue at Juke Joint based on previous reviews which I hadn't read until now. This was my first time here and a really great time. It's a lot bigger than what I thought looking from the outside. The parking lot in the back is really huge so there is a lot of parking. The service was excellent having Leslie as the bartender. People are all very friendly and it seemed to be like a local hangout. This bar is beyond a dive bar it's a place I can count on to be over and beyond entertaining and fun!! The bartenders are the best!! Tonight I was served by Daiquiri and she was TOP NOTCH when it came to customer service and just being the most genuine woman ever!!! I love Allie as well and John and Edgar!! Funniest dive bar around! Drinks are amazing, bartenders are sooooo great, and ambience cannot be beat!

The juke joint is such a hidden gem. Just know that it is a dive bar, so don't expect anything super extravagant. If you're looking for a low key good time, this is the place to go! The bartenders here are extremely are very attentive and kind. They're generous with the drinks which is great considering how cheap they already are. They also walk around to see if you want another round which I think is really nice. There's plenty to do here as well! They have skee-ball, basketball, arcade games, pool, and even Karaoke on certain days. The karaoke host is AMAZING. The DJ is okay. He mostly plays music he likes and doesn't really pay attention to what the crowd is feeling. They have plenty of indoor seating but the outdoor patio is also available and has heated lamps as well as food vendors. I don't know how I could give a dive bar 5 stars but if there were such a thing, I would probably give it to this place. mean, if you've been in one dive bar, you've been in all of them- random mix of people of differing ages and backgrounds, cheap booze, karaoke, booties-hanging-out -of-shorts bartenders... all the things that make a dive bar dive-y. This one was pretty sketch with their 3 or 4 armed security guards. My husband said they were taser guns but why did they need so much security?! But that's ok, i wasn't scurred. We'll probably because we got there just in time to get a happy hour priced beer, play the pinball machines and large Jenga and got to hear a few people sing some karaoke songs. They have a large outdoor seating area to get some fresh air and get some of that grilled chicken that smelled delicious. The Bartender tonight Leslie was a complete bitch. I don't think tips should be added if it's not deserved . Her attitude needs to leave , if she can't handle it then bounce . I sure hope she doesn't work weekends if she considers Wednesday really busy. She must've lied on her resume. When applying to a job like this you have to know what kind of environment you'll be working in. I asked her "what sweet drinks do you have here" and with attitude she responded "I can't chose for you ,make up your mind" and I said "what do you have that is sweet , what would you recommend?" And again with attitude smacking the counter "I can't chose for you make up your mind" . Like when the hell did I ask her to chose ? If she didn't know what was on the menu where SHE WORKS AT then thats different and she should have just said that after all it is her job and should know either way. She should really learn about the place she's working at. It wasn't so much the situation but it was her attitude , learn how to talk to people especially in that environment. We didn't even finish our drinks because we were just disgusted with the service. Went to another bar told others the situation and they had the exact same experience with the same girl. Been here a couple times and it's been pretty fun! Last time I went here was on a Monday night.I enjoyed the mango beer on tap (I forgot the name of it), it was my first time drinking it. The vibe was nice, not packed but not empty surprisingly. Shot some hoops, played pin ball, and darts! Darts was the highlight of the night! The only thing we didn't get to do was play pool. People hogged up the tables even after playing multiple games. Pool table is free so I guess we should've gotten here earlier. Music was a bit dry, 1 good song after every 3 bad songs played. Born and raised in Anaheim I've been coming to juke joint since I've been old enough to drink. Drinks, bartenders (especially squirrel) & environment have always been top notch, UNTIL LESLIE CAME AROUND! This girl has a mouth/attitude on her, not sure what she's doing working in customer service. She REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY CREDIT CARD because she claimed to be "too busy to close my tab" on a Wednesday afternoon with only 4 customers at the bar. Many of my friends and local bar goers REFUSE to go to the juke because of the way Leslie has treated them. I have since not returned and have taken my business over to the packing house. Last night around midnight, (April 8) I came to spend time with my partner and our friends who recently welcomed their first baby into the world. It was their first night back and they recommended we go to this place. When we first arrived, everything was great. People were having a good time and we were playing jenga. Then, we put a $20 bill inside the vending machine. We knew that it wasn't going to give us our change back because it was stated on a note, but we were okay with that. What we were not okay with, was the act of having the vending machine steal our $20 bill and didn't vend anything back. I asked for assistance with this machine from several employees there and they all told me to ask the bartender as she was the one in charge. I have been a waitress and bartender for nearly 6 years now and I understand the system, I understand the frustrations, the stress, the aggressive guests, and I have great respect for bartenders and servers. I also understand that vending machines are owned by third parties, but once again I reiterate that I am familiar with the system at restaurants and bars and I know that we could have been helped, but the bartender dismissed me. She immediately told me that the machine did not accept $20 bills but no where on the machine did it say that, it only said that the machine gives no change. I am certain that I am not the only one who has had this issue and nothing has been done about it before. This place continuously and voluntarily has made the decision to steal from people. $20 in this economy is precious, and for some it will decide if people eat or not. I am a big tipper because I work in the industry, so if the bartenders weren't negligent I would have tipped those $20 either way. There was no need to steal it from me. People who steal money from others are the ones who never have enough because money is an energy. So I advise the employees to stay safe and keep their money clean. The bartenders (male and female) were extremely neglectful of this incident and did not take the time to listen to us. I was respectful from the beginning but when they offered us no help and walked away I became persistent about this issue and my partner was also bluntly ignored and no one reasoned with him. The bartender in charge of this place should be trained to lead with logic and reasoning and not by her emotions. She is under qualified to be lead. When we left, we were followed by a kind employee who fixed the situation for us because this employee witnessed the entire incident and agreed that it was a robbery and pocketed money. This employee gave us our $20 back. This person was the only one there that had morals. For the sake of this person's safety and job, I will leave this person anonymous. This place is corrupt and they have implemented tactics to steal from their guests and the bartender knew exactly what she was doing by ignoring my partner and I. read more

Juke Joint is FOR SURE a local haunt. This is a cool dive bar that features all the tatted up regulars and rock memorabilia that you'd expect to find, but also features friendly servers and an amazingly welcoming outdoor patio. Even last night I got involved in an intense Jenga game with some of the other patrons, and met really cool people. The bathrooms here suck, but its a dive bar. They also can be reallllllllly slow and sometimes only have one bartender, so pro tip? Order two drinks at a time. Also, if youre looking for a place with a strict adherence to covid precautions..... there are other places in Anaheim. However, they do have a taco truck located in the parking lot for people to grab food, as per guideline requirements at time of writing this review. read more

I want to see the UFC fight so I call. No answer. I wait a couple hours and call again. No answer. I call again. No answer. I check out their website and they've got the UFC logo displayed along with logos for the NBA, NHL, MLB so I figure we're good. I roll up and ......nothing. Ten or twelve people inside, nothing happening. I ask the bartender if they show the UFC fights and she says "We show all the free ones." The free ones!!?? That's like a burger place selling fries and shakes but no burgers. Like an ice cream place that sells chocolate sauce and chopped nuts and fruit but no ice cream. I came in on a Monday night and it was a pretty relaxed night because there was only about 10 people in total in the bar. What shocked me was the amount of service I did not get. After sitting on the high top barstools for 20 mins and waving down the two female bartenders, we never got drink served to us or any greeting from them. However, we did get a goodbye on our way out after waiting with no drinks served. The goodbye was from one of the bartenders who was chilling outside with her friends at a table. If I could leave zero stars I would. Be careful with this place , I just recently went and am automatic tip was added on my tab without letting me know even though my tab was less than 100 Dollars and it was just two ppl. When I confronted the bartender she disregarded me and called me drunk. Little does she know I work in the industry and I know that California law prohibits an automatic tip without informing a guest and I actually asked her to take it off and she refused and just told me it was my imagination and I was drunk .
