I haven't even slept here yet, and I want to leave. When I first arrived, my key didn't fit in the…read morelock to open the door. I had to go back to reception(in another building), carrying my backpack and everything with me to get another key, which of course didn't work either. So 3rd attempt one of them goes with me because they obviously think I can't open a door properly, and she realizes that no, the key doesn't work. So she makes me to wait in the hall, (when she has a key to open the room with her) and she finally goes to get me one that does work.
Then I tried to connect to the wifi. She told me I had to pay for it, which was disappointing, but oh well. I tried to do it, but of course everything is in German(I'm Canadian..) so I can't understand what billing information to put where. I go to the front desk for help with the language barrier, and they tell me I can just buy it there at the front desk, and it's cheaper. Why they didn't tell me that originally, I don't know.
I go back to my room and try the wifi, and it doesn't work, naturally. I go back to reception for what seems like the billionth time and ask why, and she tells me the wifi doesn't work in that building. WTF?!?! I just paid €12 for wifi and it doesn't even work?!?!
THIS HOSTEL IS HORRIBLE. Plus it's not even close to the city centre, you have to take the subway. Total waste.
