This place is terrible! They say it's a hotel but this is a youth hostel. That's not even the worst…read moreof it. The rate was $490 euro!! I booked it so it's my fault but by looking online this place seems nice. It's not! It's a camp for kids. There are over a hundred Camp kids here. The rooms are basically dorm rooms. I can't believe what we are being charged for this place. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Internal signage is mostly only in German so be a good traveller and swot up on your language skills before you go. To keep costs down, the hostel accepts donations from the local fire service for using the building for training exercises. I didn't know this and arrived back from a walk in the village to find a fireman up a ladder removing one of the hostel wardens from an upstairs room.
