There are also daily confessional times available. The noon mass, interestingly, is a Polish language mass and very well attended. While I do speak a Slavic language I do not speak Polish. I do find the mass interesting and fulfilling, and there are certain items additional which are quite nice. The Polish parishioners are wonderful and friendly , and it is relatively easy to follow along if you know the form of mass in general. There is a large lawn at the Church and for several years it has been a focal point of evening walks with my dogs. Ample parking is on site at the rear of the Church, as well as to the side of the front lawn, and on the street. Nearby, the parish operates a parochial school for children. There is also a multi day festival within the Saint Christopher community. An excellent time for parishioners and non-parishioners alike to join together for wholesome fun.

I really love the new facility! Very modern and minimalistic in design with a neutral color scheme…read more The parking lot is bigger which is nice! Lots of spots. They even guide you into a space which was great! What's awesome is they have a cute little room for the next steps info sessions if you're hoping to find out more about the church. They also sell apparel here which is great! I browsed through some of it and loved some of the cups and such. The lobby is open with high ceilings. There's a really cool map of Columbus on one of the walls right when you walk in. We got greeted at the doors with big smiles! Loved it! Everyone seemed really excited! When you've got good greeters, it really makes a difference. The sanctuary is open as well. It makes the space feel ten times larger. When my friends and I came to the 11am service on Sunday, it was already packed inside! A girl led us to some seats since it was dark in there. We got to sit up in the balcony. We had a great view of the whole space! The seats are very comfortable and big enough to share with someone. We ended up sharing seats up there since the lady next to us needed a few more. No problem! I had ample room and she let me sit partly on her seat as well. For some reason, I keep thinking this church is trying to appeal to the younger generation. But it's for everyone. They had a singer on stage who was a little older who I had never seen before. Seeing him made me realize that this church is for all ages. Needed to see that. Only thing to plan for is getting here early. The building is located right off a roundabout which can add a little bit of time depending on which direction you're coming from. Anyway, love it! Can't wait to return!

I liked all the singers and the lectors. They were engaging. The church is really pretty and so open! I couldn't help but stare the whole time. Parking lot isn't bad. I'd suggest parking on the side furthest from the road as so many cars would line up and I couldn't leave the lot for a good five minutes. I love seeing that so many people attend church. It's so uplifting. I only wish that they'd fix the situation with the mic. I couldn't hear the priest very well or one of the lectors. They needed to lean a little more into the mic. It was mostly families and elderly folks here. That's the demographic in UA and it made me feel a little out of place. I guess all the young adults and the diversity is at St Christopher, so I'm told.

The church actually had an accident a few years ago (a fire I believe?) and they reopened about 2 years ago. I never saw the Original St. Mary's, but I frequently go to Mass here now. I am a parishioner at St. Catharine's, but I love Fr Vince so much that you can sometimes catch me at a random weekday Mass at St Mary's or the 11a Sunday Mass. Father Vince Nguyen is a fantastic priest. He is really good friends with my pastor, Father Dury and they are a lot alike. His homilies are meaningful, thought-provoking, heartfelt and humorous. I always leave a Mass at St. Mary's feeling invigorated with the Holy Spirit. I have also gone to confession here a few times and once again, Fr. Vince is the best. He takes his time with each penitent and makes you feel loved by God as he discusses Scripture with you and outlines your penance. He has become my go-to confessor (sorry Father Dury--everyone knows it feels weird to go to your "home" priest for confession! Hah!) The interior of this church is something that even non-Catholics can appreciate. The wood fixtures are so fresh and new-- enough to make St. Joseph himself proud! The artwork and statues are ones that I could stare at for hours. It really is breathtaking--everyone should see this! I'd highly recommend St. Mary's as a parish to attend Mass. It's such a special experience each time. Thank you Fr. Nguyen for being such a wonderful priest- the Holy Spirit is on fire in you!

To the left is a cry room if you have small children. Plus, it has it's own bathroom with a baby changing station inside said room! There are also an assortment of small toys and books to keep the small ones occupied while you attend mass. For the most part this is a dressier church. I did see a few jeans and nice tops, but most were in skirts and dress pants. Decent mass, priest wasn't preachy in the sermon, I'd attend mass here again. For Baptism: The Priest was no nonsence ready to get started on time. He was nice and personable and explained what to do as we went. Stuck around for photos later and allowed photos during. He also answered any questions we had before and afterwards. God Parents were given information cards for proof of... God Parent-ism? So that was nice.
