If you love getting massages like me, you should try the Juana Spa.
It's comfortably located in Arellano Street, across Hotel Benilde. The first time I went there was because Mont Albo was fully-booked and I really wanted to get a good massage. You know, 8 hours of sitting on a swivel chair never do you any good.
Now, I really don't know about you guys, but there's something with the way spas block natural light from the outside that freaks me out. It would always seem to me that vampires work there. Good thing I saw the therapists outside the door when arrived.
The place is small, very homey with two couches for waiting customers. The sessions take place on the second level with curtains separating each massage table.
On my first visit, I tried their Upper and Lower Back 30-minute massage for 150 pesos. It was very relaxing, totally helped soothe my back aches!
The only thing I did not like about the place was the therapists who do not have customers yet talk extensively while you're there. It totally messes up the relaxed vibe you should get from massage parlors. read more
