I had not wanted to spend much on the trip -- and, well, Blush on Main ended that fantasy pretty quickly. Blush on Main has racks and racks of beautiful women's clothes and accessories. If it weren't for being pregnant, I may have revelled in these racks a bit more. My sister-in-law, though, found a few items to try on here. What I really loved was Blush on Main's hat collection. I'm a sucker for a great hat (for proof, see my main Yelp profile pic). This shop had a few varieties that were particularly good for more regular wear, such as when outside at home, at farmers markets, on vacation, etc. I found a straw hat with a blue band that I had to have. It cost around $45, I believe, which was over my budget for the day (see the second paragraph above) but not so much to break the bank. I forked over my credit card, and I wore the hat the rest of the day. My sister-in-law and mother-in-law also got great hats. The staff is so helpful and the atmosphere is just "homey" and comforting. I love the fabric, the patterns, the "new" ideas and inspiration is beyond wonderful. The basement is filled with great smells, music, and fun!!!! This is a must see in this beautiful river town. Outside of the store is filled with cute little succulents, plants, & the cutest things to plant them in & on. We love the ladies who work at the store. They are always so nice & helpful. Mom saw wanted this cute tin watering can that was a fountain. She told one of the ladies behind the desk. The lady said it was their last one but she could have it. Within 10 minutes the fountain was boxed up & in the back of my car. I also found an incredible smelling candle which was apricot & chai. So that candle also came home with me. It was a little pricey but sometimes you get to treat yourself haha
