This place makes great quality drinks with a Vietnamese flair. I like how much variety the menu has compared to other shops. The drinks are around $6 which I will take over the other places which are now charging $8 for a basic drink. They also have good service and pretty atmosphere and decor. I got the coconut egg cream jasmine milk tea. I don't like coconut but this just had some coconut flakes so the taste was minimal.

This is a Vietnamese boba shop and it has the BEST green milk tea. I like their green milk tea by itself with full sweetness but if you aren't a fan of overly sweet drinks, I would consider adjusting the sweetness down. The green collection comes with milk and matcha jello which is good but I prefer just drinking without scooping with a spoon. I also usually get their milk tea no. 3 which is my favorite between that one and the no. 5. It is sweeter and has a strong tea flavor. Both of these get me caffeinated! The place is a little small but they have lots of tables, even some lower to the ground with some stools! They also play Vietnamese music in the back. Ordering was easy and fast with an easy to read menu too.

Cute boba shop with unique offerings. We came in for a sweet treat after lunch. They not only have your traditional boba drinks and fruit teas but they also offer desserts featuring milk jello and street food bites. There were also packaged snacks for purchase as well. I opted for the salted foam coffee but got to sip the artichoke tea, green collection, and almond panna cotta lychee sweet dessert. All were good! We also ordered fried chicken feet. I cannot comment on that but the others loved it. Would definitely come back to try other drinks on their menu. The young ladies working there were very friendly and helpful for those of us who were first timers.

Had extremely amazing tea flavor. I loved the toppings and choices and it is very hard to find these. I have only had them in Vietnam and the baristas were super chill and kind. I really loved and enjoyed the esthetic here as well. Solid spot and definitely worth checking it out!

Been here a couple times and the drinks are decent. Not my favorite and they're not too sweet which is good if you don't like super sweet drinks. There's plenty of seating and decor is cute. Service is really quick.

Thai Green Tea & Milk Tea No. 3 (Classic Milk Tea)

I've been to many Vietnamese-owned boba stores before, and would say the majority of them try to imitate the classic Taiwanese boba taste. Well not JTea. I ordered the Classic Milk Tea to see how they would pull off such a conventional drink and was very impressed by how different it tasted in the best way possible. The milk tea was very sweet and smooth, with just a touch of creaminess. I don't know what type of black tea is used here but the flavor is very complex. A little malty and honey-like, I have not tasted anything like it. It's for this reason alone that I keep wanting to come back to get this one of a kind drink. The Thai Green Tea also really impressed me. It is insanely sweet so I recommend dialing down the sweetness, but whatever blend of green tea they used to make this drinks is super tasty and pleasant. If you are used to traditional Taiwanese boba and want a unique Vietnamese twist on the drinks JTea is place to visit. 9/10!

Upon entering we've noticed that indeed, the vibes were poppin'. Decor was on point, aesthetic was on point, and most importantly, bubble tea was it. I had the Brown Collection which was brown sugar milk tea with various jellies topped with a sea salt cold foam. I've had brown sugar milk teas before and a lot of them are noticeably sweet. This was just the perfect balance of sweet, tea flavor, and salty from the foam which all balanced so nicely. The additional jellies were a fun touch of textures and additional flavors, all not too overwhelming. I guess my only complaint was the amount of ice in the cup but at least the tea stayed cold! The boba was also more of a jelly like texture rather than the traditional tapioca, which I didn't mind that much.

Love coming by this boba shop in Bellaire. They are known for the best green milk tea! I ordered the green collection which consisted of matcha boba and milk jello. I usually adjust the sugar level just because I don't like extra sweet drinks. Interior is pretty decent size, nothing too special. The drinks are what makes customers come Back! And service is quick. Menu is simple and very easy to read.

I have had this boba shop called JTea in bellaire on my list of places to try for a long time but have never had the chance to go to. Finally, I was able to try it and I'm so glad I was able to. They're known for green milk tea, which is basically a Thai green milk tea. You can tell you're in a Vietnamese establishment the moment you walk in. They have Vietnamese music and radio playing, the really low tables with stools found on the streets of Vietnam, and a bunch of snacks for sale. They have a lot of exotic drinks that are usually hard to find as well. I got their signature green milk tea with milk jello. They also added some matcha jello as well even though it wasn't listed on the menu. The green milk tea is so good. It has a strong tea flavor, with the common floral taste of Thai green milk tea, not too bitter, and most importantly, delicious. The matcha jello was whatever to me but I really liked the milk jello. They also have bottled green milk tea for sale too if you just want the drink by itself.

Jtea is my number one favorite boba spot in Bellaire. However, they added furnitures and more seating areas but it looks very crowded especially at the cashier. Also, they raised the price of the to-go green tea bottle to $7.75 (with no toppings), more expensive than their Green Collection which is $7.50 (with toppings). That is insane! The drinks are still really good, but the price crazy. They also gave less toppings for the Green Collection we ordered, mostly just cheese foam, barely any jello and boba. My favorite boba shop, but very expensive now

This boba shop was a bit out of the way for me, but it's just down Bellaire Blvd. I came here in the afternoon on a week day, and there was still a line! I was so surprised. Parking was easy to find, just not directly in front of JTea. They have a small lot shared with other businesses. I got what my Vietnamese friend told me to order: Tiramisu milk tea 25% sugar + khuc bach. The khuc bach was an extra $2.50, so my order came out to like $8-9. RIP my wallet. It was like a slightly harder version of jello. There were some regular milk (white) ones and matcha (green) pieces. It tasted ok. The drink was good though. I can see the hype. I'm glad I got 25% sugar because it was still really sweet for me! The drink comes with lychee jelly on the bottom. I didn't fall in love with this crazy drink, but it wasn't bad. I think I just prefer a simple milk tea.

I've been dying to try this place as soon as I heard about the milk jello. I ordered the Milk Tea No. 3 with regular boba and strawberry milk jello. FYI, the difference between Milk Tea No. 3 & No. 5 is that No. 5 is less sugar and more tea I believe. Anyways, back to my drink. It was freaking delicious!!! The milk tea was so freaking good. It was quite sweet, but not in an overwhelming way. The strawberry milk jello was tasty with the perfect chewy consistency! I love that they have multiple jello options and even boba options. I tried their green tea milk tea, which is essentially matcha. It was pretty yummy as well. I'm definitely going to come back to try their different milk jellos as well as their other drinks. JTea is definitely up to the hype. read more

New cute boba place! The aesthetics are on point! The space is kinda small but it's nice. I got the super topping drink with milk tea and no sea salt. The milk tea was average, but the jelly was really good. My friend got the fresh milk with boba and that was super good. I def recommend that one. I am absolutely in love with their Vietnamese foam coffee. It has just the perfect amount of coffee and milk, and their coffee foam is out of this world. It tastes exactly like how a Vietnamese coffee should taste like and it looks very aesthetic. Love it!! I also like their little snacks. Especially love their banh mi nuong muoi ot!! I love their special drinks here especially their Tiramisu milk tea, Yogurt drink, and Jasmine Tea with the cheese foam. Although I normally prefer less sweet drinks, I find this place does a good job in adjusting levels for you (other places' drinks are still too sweet even when I ask for 50% sugar). In addition, their milk jello is a personal favorite. read more

The first time I came here when they grand opening 2 weeks is fine. I try their brown sugar milk with boba is very good . But i came back after 2 months, I was so disappointed cause my drink taste not very good, I buy the brown sugar milk with pearls, milk is normal and baba is very hard. Also I try their " khuc bach", it was worse than before too.I want to give 2.5 star but now I just give 2 stars. Never come back. read more

When I tell you this is the absolute BEST place to get boba, I wouldn't be lying. The events and giveaways this store has, the prices, and aesthetically pleasing looks that come with every drink. There's so much more good things I can say, but those are only a few of the many. The only thing I want to happen is the reduce the plastic waste a teeny bit, because if this boba place was plastic reduced AND good. Hands down the best place to get boba is general. read more

I have been a fan of Yogurt Aloe Vera, Matcha tea, fruit tea, Banh Canh, Bap Xao for so long since this operation opens. Drinks are unique ( a little bit sweet ), snacks and foods are also good. Recently there is a reason which I concern every time decide to get in the door is Service. Service behavior has been going down for real, even I always leave tips. I know service industry is hard to smile with all type of customer, dont need to smile all the time but at least just be nice in talking or handing food to customer. I am still fan of Jtea, I will give 3.8/5 cause last 5 times stopped by, I alway feel disappointed in service. read more

JTea offers the highest boba tea quality that I've ever tried. My fav drink is matcha green tea with jello. I still can taste the tea, the matcha flavor in the combination. The milk tea is so dense that make you feel like it's not diluted with water at all. The jellos are chewy, tasty even you submerge in drink for a long time. I came from Dallas area and also tried multiple milktea shops in California so I thought that no new milktea place will impress me anymore but this shop proves me wrong. I visit with my family and we ordered the brown sugar special. The milk jello topping were such a nice surprise and it was so good that we have to return on the same day to order extra drinks + che khuc bach. I've been here twice before, and this time I wanted to try something else. I felt a little sick, so I ordered a drink without ice. Instead, I got a half cup drink and the other half was really empty!!Very confused,then they told me that they don't make it to full. That is manifestly absurd. I love the jelly cubes/jello that come with the drinks! Very aesthetic. However, I always find it hard to get it through my straw when I'm drinking :( Green Milk Tea with Milk Jello is great! The place is pretty small and it gets pretty crowded but they do have a cute wall behind the couch that you can take pictures. I can't wait to try their food menu. read more

I used to like this place until I realize how stingy they are. I also don't like that they give you less milk tea if you ask for less ice. I'm not paying for ice. They need to get it together. For the cost of the milk tea you expect the right amount whether is less ice or not. I won't be coming back here that's for sure. What a disappointment. How does that even make sense?! Smh read more

Staff is getting more incompetent. I ordered green milk tea and asked for the strongest tea flavor but 0 or less sugar. Girl said getting less sugar (lower than 100 percent) will lower the tea flavor strength. Oh really. She made me get the 100 percent sugar. Mistake. Too sweet for me. I called 1960 location and the manager said the staff at Bellaire are wrong. Customers can order less sugar green milk tea at the original brewed tea levels similar to what they do with their black milk teas. I am beginning to despise the Bellaire location. The staff are pissy, incompetent and can't consistently make teas. Mondays are the worst when it comes to bland tea flavor at this store. Their sea salt creamer is watery compared to the 1960 location. My advice is to avoid the Bellaire location and go to the 1960 location. read more

i really liked this place!! as much as i love magic cup, i can't help but notice their internet is just always giving me issues. if you go a little further down the street, you can find this little place! Not a huge amount of seating, but there's still alot of traffic. seems like the milk jello and their thai green tea is a hit; they sell jugs of that stuff! my party ordered a jasmine milk tea, a coffee milk tea, a cafe sua da, and....something else but it doesn't matter which one it was BC IT WAS ALL VERY, VERY GOOD; so surprisingly good I couldn't believe that i enjoyed each drink i tried. We went on labor day monday so they had a a little promotion where if you spent over $20 you got a free drink...and we bought sO MUCH. the drinks were cheap and the snacks were cheap. The thing about the snacks though (aka the lemmon pepper shrimp) is like those frozen breaded van de camp cardboard boxes served with some sweet sauce. I mean it was only $4 but it was such a small portion i was like wtf how do you just sell this as a portion LOL But the snack I did enjoy was their banh bot loc; it wasn't like FRESH but it was yummy as a little snack when you're working for a period of time there. bathrooms are clean and there's a cute backdrop to take pictures there. Surprisingly nice and cute when walking in from that desolate looking strip. read more

I already tried Aloe Vera Yogurt and Fresh Milk w Black Sugar Boba. They are good. However, shop doesn't have ice water for free, if you want a cup of water, you have to buy a bottle of water for 1 dollar or little more... stimes when I drink sweet drink, i also want a cup of water to make my drink less sweet or lose appeatite... that's just my opion.... many shops have water for free... read more

Cute little drink place to hang out with friends, but it can get a little loud and rowdy. The complex that it's in is a little shady, so don't be driving your Mercedes Benz out after dark. The drinks are on the more sweeter side, ask for half sweet or get your insulin pens ready. I had the green milk tea (I think it's matcha)... it's definitely on the more creamy side, the milk jello were good though. Peach tea is refreshing. Regular milk tea is so-so. read more

This was my first time trying this shop and I didn't know how busy it would be especially on a Sunday night, so I decided to order online. The order was ready in about 5-10 min which was super quick! The shop itself is in a corner of a plaza but very easy to find due to their bright lights! Plenty of parking outside and inside is very cute and quaint! I think it's a good spot to just grab your drink and go, but there are a few seats so you can rest or study. This pandan milk tea is probably one of my favorite drinks ever, especially if I'm craving something sweet + non-fruity + no caffeine! The pandan flavor was perfect and had a nice coconut flavor as well that made the pandan stand out. The grass jelly was perfect too. The whole drink itself tasted very nostalgic and perfect. I also ordered 50% sugar which was the perfect amount of sweetness and I think next time I'm gonna also add boba for more chew and textures! Overall, I'm for sure going to come back to try more of their drinks and of course, order the pandan milk tea.

While there have been conflicting opinions and disagreements towards this business, I was sticking up for them because I believed individual business had their own regulations and rules. If you are not happy with their services or products' quality, you're welcome to bring your business elsewhere. People have been complaining about the price-up in products ( which is happening with every business nationwide ) doesn't match quality. While you can have your cup filled all the way to the lid regardless of ice level at most of Asian boba stores in Houston, you can only get your cup filled halfway if you choose not to have ice, or at "no ice" level at Jtea. The inadequate quality has been fueled with unfriendly staffs whose "bossy attitudes" make customers feel "uncomfortable" and "rushing". At this point, I am still all for amicable sales: you don't like it, leave in peace! Not until there is customer being verbally harrashed and humiliated on social media for expressing her own opinions about the products/services she received by dozen of clone and non-local accounts who have never been to the business ever which is believed to have something to do with the owner. In opposite to the local's dissatisfaction, these people attacked and name called this poor customer for leaving review not in favor of the business with the same manner and attitude as the staffs here. I'd not surprise if they eventually turn out to be relevant with the owner. If this is how they deal with critics, save your time and money. read more

Beautiful decor. It's small, cozy, trendy and friendly. Love coming here even if it's bit far from Chinatown. They put a lot of thought into this holiday season, the Christmas deco was so shiny and delightful. Now let's talk about their specialty drinks. Number 1,2,3 and 5. What can I say about it, it's sooo good. Super intensive flavor. Lots ingredient makes the drink very pure. They might be bit pricy for the amount but for this month content I think they are really worth it. Sea salt milk tea is definitely worth trying. They also have them in to-go bottle with Jtea label. And did you see all the different kind of pudding in the little fridge there? So many different flavor and so good. I get them separately so that I eat it as a desert. Honestly, I never have work at any place that can be such as bad as this place. I try my best to come to work with a nice attitude, but the worker in here are extremely rude. They are always gossip about everything, and treat me like I'm the dumbest person they've ever known. My mom always goes to this place for a drink, but she is dissapointed by how I got treat from this place! I don't recommend anyone to work here. When I go to this place, I noticed that the boss and some worker treat the trainee really bad. I was trying to enjoy my time here but the attitude of the worker makes me feel so uncomfortable. Plus, a lot of the time I feel like the drink makes me feel dizzy and tired after drinking it. Therefore, I won't come back here again. Hope you guy know how to treat others well! read more

I frequently visit this boba place to pick up drinks, and I must say, the tea is incredibly aromatic and flavorful. Every sip is a delight! However, I do find the price quite expensive, with each drink costing almost $8. Additionally, they tend to put a lot of ice in the drinks. I hope they'll consider giving us less ice in the future to make the experience even better. read more
