We remodeled our home a few years ago and there were some things that were left open by the group…read morewho remodeled our home. HHS came to our home and worked diligently for a few weeks and fixed everything we needed fixed and then did more. He installed a new garage door opener, did all our exterior lights (beautiful), installed our overhead garage storage racks, replaced deck planks, painted a wall, rewired in wall speakers, replaced bad LED can lights, fixed wall imperfections due to bad drywall, and fixed our seal on our front door. Doug at HHS is professional, very price competitive when he doesn't have to be because he's awesome, and knows just about everything about anything. If you're thinking of any home project, he is someone you should call. I wish I had known about him before we remodeled our home.

I reached out to Patrick to clear a clogged drain in my kitchen. He was prompt, professional, and…read morestraightforward with his pricing. He did everything he could to clear the drain, but the clog was further in the pipe than his equipment could reach. So he didn't charge me! He explained the problem, discussed potential solutions, and then took the time to reach out to another company on my behalf who he knew would have the equipment necessary to clear the clog. That kind of service and consideration is what we need more of in our world today. Thank you, Patrick, for your honesty, integrity, and five star service. If we ever have another plumbing issue you will be the first call we make

We hired VHS to replace our downstairs flooring and tile a small bathroom floor to ceiling. It was…read moresuppose to take about 3 days and it took about 2 weeks. The overall job was good but we had some issues. After they laid the floor my two front doors would not open because the floor was too high. They had to end up taking the doors out and redo the trim and then put them back in. The guys dented my frig when they used a furniture mover to pull it out and scratched the floor. The piece that they glued to the step and transition strip had to be reglued. The supervisor that came out was great and fixed everything. The end project was ok but it was really stressful. I think the guys were all subcontractors. I would probable not use them except for carpet.

First installer that came wanted…read moreto supplement carpet on my steps facing because he didn't know how to do it properly which would have looked awful with my vinyl flooring. They then said they'd send another installer to look at the floor. We set up a time for him to come and he did not show up or call to say he wasn't. When I reached out to the son to try and find out what was going on and if the guy was still coming that night I was told NOT to call him after hours. Didn't seem to care his person left me hanging. It then progressed into being called repeatedly to the point of harassment from the owner. This was so ridiculous I then said I do NOT want to do business with this kind of people and customer service. It was actually scary for me.

We waited for a bit to write this review as we were hoping they would make things right…read more Unfortunately we have had no response from them so wanted to share our experience. When we were given the quote it was for $145 an hour with no mention of any "additional fees". When the gentleman came to do the job he was a pleasure to work with and did a great job!! We have no complaints on that part. The problem came when the bill was received and it was hundreds more than what we had anticipated. When discussing with the owner this is what we were told. Plumber is $150 an hour not $145. There was an additional $45 and hour for a young man to pick up concrete and collect tools. We had to pay for drive time to and from the house. There was a jackhammer fee. And we had to pay for them to clean out the truck . Which consisted of half a barrel of concrete and about 10 feet of pipe. We feel that should have been shared when given the quote, not after the fact. I suggest you ask about these fees before confirming an appointment.
