Review for JR's Tires in Phelan: After being told I needed a new tire by a big-name shop, I decided to stop by JR's Tires in my town, just to see if they could help. Not only did they take a look right away, they FIXED my tire--no fuss, no drama, and definitely no pressure to buy something I didn't need. Just $20 for the repair and I was back on the road. Quick, honest, and easy. Huge shoutout to JR's for treating me like a human, not a sales target. Sometimes the little guys really do save the day. read more

Great, friendly service and good prices. So glad to have a local tire shop here in Phelan.

Great service competitive pricing. 6 new tires mounted and balanced for my boat trailer

Outstanding Service and Top-Quality Tires! I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a new tire from Kevin at JR's Tire Shop, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. From start to finish, he was very professional, knowledgeable, and super fast! He ended up charging less than his original quote and even refused a tip--seriously, they just don't make them like that anymore! 100% recommend read more

It's harder than heck, they're busier than hell, people waiting in line, and they still hustle out my nail hole. Great group of people so I stopped. I guess our local tire shop is for real. !!! read more

I called for a simple quote to patch a tire and was told it would be $20-$25 'depending on the size of the tire.' Since when does that matter for a basic patch? The guy insisted it was normal because 'some tires are bigger than others.' I told him it was a stock tire for a pick up truck with nail, he said the puncture didn't matter only the size of the tire, completely backwards, logic. The guy had a childish attitude and if this is how they price things, I wouldn't trust them with anything. read more

Can't contact! I have been trying to call Jr's Tires all day for price and availability on some tires. Every single time I've been immediately hung up on or silence for 5 seconds then a hang up. Since they obviously don't want business, I'll go elsewhere. read more

Worst f****** tired shopping worst workers worst service ever oh they do is lollygag stand around and watch one guy work while they all sit there outside like 10 of them while they're all doing the same project the most stupidest s*** I've ever seen in my life while my truck sit at the gas pump with a flat tire and waiting for it to be too because they can't seem to put a tire on the room unbelievable I will never in life go there again I'd rather stab myself with an umbrella and open it read more

0 stars if I could. Went to Utah June 28 and bought what was suppose to be 4 "new tires" from them (JR TIRES PHELAN) barley made it to the 15 fwy and two of them popped went back to jr tires they gave us the other two and a rim luckily made it to Vegas and then the other two popped the entire time the guys were laughing when we went back and now we know why we went over to discount tires in Vegas and they said the tires were not new they just cleaned them up to make them look new and to check the DOT it was from 2/14 about 9 years old! Never again read more

Horrible place to go they don't follow the order people come in the boss is gone at dollar tree have the time and the employee is the slowest thing I've ever seen, if the main JRs tire is ok with them losing business I guess they don't care either read more

It's one thing to have trouble communicating over the phone and the employees not having any clear explanation when you go there, but to do so in a completely rude and disrespectful manner is entirely unacceptable. Move on to a different tire shop! read more

Really went out of their way to not only the reason I originally went in for, but also for the necessities. The fact that they did me a favor and made it work, all within MY budget is very much appreciated!!! Above and beyond great customer service. Once again thank you, you guys are awesome! read more

Ran over median at 18 and 138 split and they fixed us right up! Others lined up for repairs and new tires all of the time we were there.

My tire popped on me on Phelan Road a few weeks back and they were a couple miles up the road. I was able to make it to them. They had me in and out in 35 minutes with a reasonably priced used tire that was actually in really good condition. They were so helpful! They really helped me out that day!! read more

I got a flat today on my way to Palmdale. I stop here at Jrs Tires and to my surprise they are closed. Be aware they are not open on sundays!!!! They do not mention that on there voicemail. Had to get a tow truck to take me to another location. So frustrating read more

Really? We get there before 6,Owner comes out, charges $10 for a patch. Leaking air. He says " we are closed" that is what we get for going to a ghetto shop. That is Phelan business for ya read more

We always get wonderful service whenever we come to Jr's tire shop. Excited customer service and they are awesome at what they do. Thank you guys for being a local reliable business. read more

I drove a tire to them today that had a bad valve. Firestone had quoted me over $25 on the phone, saying they needed to charge me for a "patch", even if it only needed a valve replaced because it's "company policy". Stupid people irritate me. Other Firestone dealers have been exceptional, but NOT the one in Hesperia. Local is usually my first go, especially locally owned over chains. This experience reaffirmed why. I would have gone to them first, but I was under the impression they closed early on Saturday. I'm glad I was wrong! I brought the tire in and they fixed it in about 3 minutes, and only charged me $5 - barely more than just the valve stem would have cost me at an auto parts store! Since they treated me right, I'm looking at giving them more business - I need a new spare and rim. HIGHLY recommend them, thanks!!! read more

We had a flat tire in the middle of no where and located this tire shop close by since we were driving on a doughnut. I called in advance while we waited for the doughnut to be put on, was told they had 2 Michelin tires In the correct size. my husband called to confirm the price. both times we told them the size and both times they confirmed the size. when we got there they informed us they did not have that size but one size bigger, the situation got worse I refused to trade with them since they flat out lied and I told them that. on our way out a man came out claiming be told me the tires were a different size which he knew was untrue. I pointed out he talked to me and my husband and he told us both the same thing!! read more

Every time I have came to this shop it's always been an issue. If you're waiting and someone they know shows up after you they will help them over you. They lie over the phone about what they have and how much it is. I've given them 4 tries now and every time it's the same disappointment. read more

I must say that I am baffled at what a piece of crap place this is and I will never take my cars to get business there again. I will go down into town. My husband took tires there to get mounted that he bought somewhere else and that is because we are on one income family with a new baby. How dare you rip us off and sell us brand new tires and refuse to put these tires on my car. So you guys are the worst place in this high desert and I will take my business elsewhere. Tell everybody about this service read more

I was experiencing a slow leak for over a month (psi 26, I'd fill it up and by the next week it would be 26 again) so today it was reading 26 AGAIN so I stopped by Jr's Tire shop and they had me in and out within 10 min after looking at the tire, diagnosing the problem (small nail), then patching it. They didn't take advantage and charged me a very reasonable price for the fix. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! read more

Great job! Went in to have a tire patched. I was out of there quickly. Reasonably priced.

This place is the biggest joke in town in such a small town in Phelan California. I had these guys order a tire for me because they cannot repair my tire, they said they can order me a semi new tire for the next day and then they will call me when the tire was there. They never call me the next day and then they told me that they will have it the following day so two days later they still didn't have my tire. I have six cars in my house and now they lose all the business because they're a bunch of unprofessional people. Don't go to this place is a joke. read more

DANGER stay away from this place they take very long to attend the customer there was an employee that said his back hurts and couldn't change my 37in tires it was a Hispanic male look like in his 30-40s I was very upset how he responded "My BacK HuRtS " very unacceptable for him to be working here if his back hurts. read more

I had a slow leak in my tire and tried Jr's. Service was quick. I didn't even have to get out of the car. The prices are very reasonable.

I happen to be in Phelan doing some work. As I was leaving the job site I noticed my passenger side rear tire looked a little low. After checking it out I saw two nails in the tire. Jr's was the 1st tire shop I saw. Pulled in and Jesus took great care of me. Patched it up and sent me on my way. Hopefully I won't be in this situation in Phelan again, but if it does happen I know where to go. read more
