Then, without warning, Dr. C suddenly left the practice. I only received an email on the day he was leaving saying he was "transitioning" and that two new dentists would be taking over. Since then, I've been trying to resolve my account because I still have unfinished services they owe me, and a credit of over $1,600. The office emailed me claiming I have no credit at all, which directly contradicts my records. I also called the practice multiple times and sent the same text message thread I've been using since January 2025. They told me they "never received" any of my calls or texts, which is interesting, considering it's the same number I've always used. When I asked them to confirm their text line or check their caller ID, they completely ignored the request. Then, out of nowhere, they tried to claim I had two no‑show appointments and attempted to charge me $200+ each. I have never experienced anything like this with a medical or dental office. With the sudden transition, new owners, and the way they're handling prepaid patients, this feels like a money grab, and I worry many others may be going through the same thing. It may be that the dentist I saw is no longer with the office, which is what their webpage now suggests. He is now a "traveling dentist" - in my former acadefmic profession, it would be said he is now "unaffliated". But I still hold his staff responsibe for this negligence. Two years and 40 trips plus almost $4,000 is what I had to go through. This bridge that I paid for and wore for 30 months is in pieces. I was told, after I sent them this picture of the broken bridge in pieces, that the lab can repair it, repair?? And also they said it was three years old. Although it wasn't yet three years old I guess they don't expect dentures to last more than three years. It would cost me anywhere from $900 to $1700. 00. I also had the top two teeth separate from the base. The office told me it would coat $175. Per tooth plus the cost of the visit. I would expect the dental practice would stand by the patient and make the lab accountable. And no, I was told, I cannot see Dr. Dorciak. I can come to the office for a fitting. I refuse to give Dr. Dorciak's practice another penny and many more months of my time to have the bridge repaired. I went to another practice. Within two weeks and two trips my bottom bridge was made. They fit perfectly. I went one time had the impression taken and one time to pick the bridge up.
