A++ Service...I didn't have a major plumbing issue or water leak or drainage problem...My toilet just wouldn't work! I called several companies, but none of them wanted to take the time to come see my "broken" toilet. I called Josh around 5:00pm and told him about our broken toilet. He was on his way to a job, but said he would come by after to take a look and see what was wrong. He called me at 7:30pm and apologized for his last appointment going longer than expected, but he still wanted to come by and help us out! Josh has been to our home multiple times, and is one of the most hardworking and honest guys in the business. He was able to clear our clean out line and got our house in working order again last year. Yesterday, we had him come out to take a look at another obstruction in our pipe. This was a nearly impossible task, and he tried for hours to exhaust all the options that he had and can think of. Unfortunately, the job could not be done, but he did give me a recommendation of another company to see if they could do it. It is late, but I am staying up until I complete this review because Josh went above and beyond to help my family this evening. I spent four hours battling a clogged toilet, which then turned into a clogged sink, and further progressed into a clogged tub. As I sat in the parking lot of Home Depot feeling dejected, struggling to figure out what to do because all other home remedies had failed, I turned to Yelp. I originally called Guardian Plumbing located in Cypress. I left a message, and then looked at their Yelp page again and realized they were closed on Fridays. I returned home thinking I could call again in the morning, but not long after I was shocked and relieved to receive a call from Tony, the owner of Guardian. I explained my problem, and he immediately directed me to Josh because he didn't want us to have to be without facilities overnight. I called Josh who told me he could be at my house within an hour. I was truly thankful because at that point all toilets, sinks, and the tub were now clogged. When Josh arrived, he figured out it was my main line, and went to work right away fixing the problem. He even fixed a toilet that had been running for a while. I'm not familiar with plumbing, so Josh took the time to explain everything to me in detail. I knew what to expect from this evening's work, potential problems that could arise in the future, and how much everything would cost. You don't really appreciate things like indoor plumbing until you find yourself without it, and with children in the house, it's a necessity. Josh worked tirelessly, and was very professional. I don't know how much more I can sing his praises before I start sounding like a rock star groupie! However, for those of you looking for an awesome plumber who knows what he is doing, Josh is that guy. Called Josh for a main line clog and he took care of it right away. He came within an hour of my call and fixed my problem right away. The process he used helps take care of the root problem for at least a year. 3 step process to cut all the roots off down to the clay pipe without having to run tons of water. Most plumbers need to dump 100s of gallons of water and are back in 4-6 months. He recommend pouring a chemical down the cleanout to kill the roots, so I will do that next.
