History

Established in 2009.

The Myers family has been farming land outside of Colfax, Washington for 5 generations now. In 2009, Bill Myers decided to start selling his grains directly to the consumer with the label Joseph's Grainery. Named after the character in the Bible, Bill's father and grandson, Joseph's Grainery now offers wheat, barley, lentils, garbanzo beans, and mills each of those into stone ground flours. In addition they also offer Pancake, Cookie and Cereal Mixes.

Farming is in his genes. The generations before Bill took exceptional care in farming the family land, just as Bill does now. It's a great day when Bill can combine two of his favorite things - taking off in his plane to check on the crops. Bill's philosophy is quite simple - take care of the land so it will produce quality crops for generations to come. When you purchase Joseph's Grainery products, you can rest assured that they are safe, all natural and non-GMO - because he wouldn't raise, mill, package and sell anything that he wouldn't feed his own family - including his four grandchildren!
