While I adore Dr. Cassara, I have to update my review due to a few unpleasant experiences with his staff. He was great, as he was always kind and asked questions about me and my husband- remembering details about our lives from the last time we spoke. He even jokingly named one of my teeth the "mega tooth", which was a fun antidote. I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Cassara! His staff, however, could use some interpersonal skill training. The last time I went for a teeth cleaning, the technicians held my face down with her knees as she adjusted to get more leverage to clean the back teeth. This did not feel great but I didn't complain because I'm sure working inside mouths can be tricky. The real issue that swayed me to not come back was the interaction my husband had with the receptionist about me. The receptionist accused me of not flossing (something I do regularly) and teeth-shamed me to him. We walked away with a bad taste in our mouth (pardon the pun) from that interaction. We called back a few times to report this bad interaction to Dr. Cassara, but that same receptionist seemed to have an excuse each time for why we couldn't get in contact with him. It was not a pleasant experience, so we switched dentists altogether to avoid the bullying by the staff. read more

I appreciated how the doctor was very detailed in their explanation of my condition and the possible treatments. The office staff were kind and made sure everything was handled quickly so I didn't feel stressed. The doctor's calm demeanor made it easier to talk about my symptoms and concerns. Overall the visit was efficient but still thorough which I found reassuring. read more

We drive nearly an hour to visit this dental office twice a year for the past 5yr+ Dr Cassara is a wonderful dentist, takes great care of his patients, very kind to all including his staff, he truly cares about the health of your mouth rather than how to increase your bill. One of his dental hygienists, Olga, is the best I've ever had. I can barely feel her cleaning my teeth, it's like she's using a feather and not those tools but when she's done your mouth is perfectly clean. Don't ask me how, but she's incredible. All of the staff up at the desk are so accommodating, polite, professional. This office is a pleasure all around, that's why we make the trek. Oh and they are great with kids too! By far the best dental practice I have ever been too. I honestly cannot say enough about Dr Cassara. The dentist before this made some mistakes and I def made some mistakes in not visiting the dentist enough (moms we always put our kids needs first). Dr Cassara NEVER made me feel self conscious and explained every step. The women at the front desk are AMAZING. Steph is a bull/bull dog with insurance and Julia my hygienist is a literal rock star. I had dr Maria as my dentist. She is caring of her P patients and was very gentle, she did my filings so easily. The staff is so kind and always so attentive to my needs. They know military insurance and that in itself is great news since not to many places know how to bill Tricare, or take this insurance for that matter. I went to a dentist before here and they wanted to do all kinds of work on me that was not necessary. I had a bad feeling so I asked my coworkers and they referred me to here. I feel safe here knowing that they don't take advantage of patients by racking up treatments and they only do what is necessary. The best dental office I've been to. First of all it was super easy to get into, nice parking, easy access to the suite. Dentists and assistants were super nice and good with my teeth/ mouth. They explained things very, very well to me. They also made sure I knew what steps to take after leaving the office regarding my teeth. Very easy scheduling. The receptionist was super nice!! This review is long overdue.................... Dr. Joe and his team are a Class Act...., Second To None....., The Best! I am very grateful to have found such an awesome dentist and hygienist. OLGA IS AMAZING! She does such a thorough and gentle job when she cleans my teeth, I walk out of there feeling like a million bucks! She puts her heart into what she does and it shows!! I've been with Dr. Joe for about 7 years now. I had 2 congenitally missing lateral incisors ( #7 and #10 ) and my cuspids grew in where the lateral incisors should have been and I had an underbite - it was a mess.......... Long story short, I wore braces for a couple years to move the cuspids back ( as well as all the teeth behind them ) and to create space for implants for teeth #7 and #10. My oral surgeon placed the implants in March/19 and Dr. Joe placed the porcelain crowns shortly thereafter. I could not be happier with the end result - it has been life changing! Dr. Joe has also done a few minor tweaks here and there to get everything dialed in cosmetically. My central incisors are a little worn down from years of smashing down against my bottom front teeth due to misalignment. Dr. Joe did some bonding to lengthen the two centrals and make them considerably longer. They look a lot nicer and it is now easier to talk. Dr. Joe and his team are the best!! Only my first visit but nice office staff. Office is clean and well maintained. Dr. Cassara also nice and appears to be conservative and watches potential issues before developing a plan. If an issue isn't symptomatic he won't act. He's on my dental plan and did not require me to pay and then get reimbursed. Personable and understanding of dental anxiety. I was a patient at Dr. Cassara's office for about two years and left two years ago because I moved. I had nothing done by his office other than exams and cleanings, and by the standard of other dentists I've experienced, I would say he is average. The hygienists are average as well. So why am I writing a review on an average dentist two years later? Because two years later he files a collection against me for $141. Not once did I get a call to say I owed any money, and considering I only had exams and cleanings and my insurance never changed, I can't understand how I could possibly owe any money because for the two years I went there they never told me I owed anything. I've attempted to email and call and no one has been able to offer me an explanation to this point. I'm left with disputing with the three credit report bureaus, which is obviously a gigantic hassle. Moral of the story: Don't bother going here because an average dentist isn't worth the hassle of him sending you to collections for money he never told you he owed you. read more
