Six months after I got married, I did a quit claim to get my dad off of the deed and my husband on the deed, not planning that my marriage would be dissolved quickly after. I was married to my ex husband for a year and a month when I told him to leave. I then retained Moira Tierney as my attorney. She said that the case should be easy and that he would get nothing because he came into the marriage with only a suitcase, and a year and a month later he left with a new car, a new wardrobe, and two vacations. Turns out that the divorce was not easy, at least for me. We remained married legally (although we didn't live together) for THREE YEARS!! During that time, he did NOT pay one penny toward the mortgage of my home while I was working 2 jobs to manage. This would have been fine if we were divorced already and his name was taken off of the deed. HOWEVER, he remained on the deed and we remained married while he demanded that I pay him $30,000 and I waited for Moira to be the amazing attorney that I expected and that I paid for. I did my due diligence in those three years, keeping bills and payments for everything I paid for the house. I gave her every document to support that he shouldn't receive a penny from me. Moira Tierney did NOTHING to represent me in my case. Finally, after three years of him harassing me and having his friends spy on me, after all of the stress I endured, I gave up. I had to refinance my house to pull $15,000 to pay him. Moira Tierney literally did nothing for me. I was practically my own attorney and paid her thousands of dollars for nothing.
