My job involved raking and reseeding a 900 square foot section of my lawn. I was quoted one price for the job, but it was nowhere near the final invoice price. The most alarming part of my invoice was a charge of $200 for seed. A 20 pound bag of Scotts TurfBuilder Mixed Sun and Shade Seed covers 2,660 square feet and costs $70. One bag of Scotts could have covered my small 900 square foot section three times! A purchase of $210 of Scotts seed would cover 7,980 Square Feet! Winding Rivers has been non-communicative. I've made numerous phone calls, personal visits, and written requests to Winding Rivers asking them to help me understand their invoice. I have had no response from Winding Rivers Landscape. Adding insult to my injury, Winding Rivers didn't even put straw down to protect the $200 seed! Winding Rivers won't get any more work from me.

I paid $6,600 in materials and roughly $3,000 in labor for digging the holes, putting the posts in, putting the panels up, and creating two gates. While I understand the higher lumber cost at that time, what I got for the labor was not $3,000 worth of work. At least not based on the shotty craftsmanship on a number of the panels and gates. I would not recommend going with this company if you have other options.
