This evening at 6.20pm I on my way home from work I called into Ross filling station for groceries, as I do almost daily for the past 30 years. I intended doing the Lotto and searched for a lotto form among the lottery forms and I could not find a lotto one. I mentioned this to the male shop assistant at the counter, but he made no offer to help me find one or offer to input my numbers manually. He then went to serve another customer. Having not found the Lotto form I again said so to the assistant who just shrugged his shoulders. There was another customer at the same time looking through the forms. Having not getting the normal customer courtesy I left without buying my groceries. I must add when I entered the shop I was the only customer but shortly afterwards 3 more customers came in. I was quite satisfied to wait until the other customers were served so the assistant could go and get a form or at least ask me if he could manually input my numbers. I was a little surprised at the laissez - fair assistants attitude towards his customer.
Needless to say I will be doing my shopping at Campus in Dunshaughlin in future . read more
