Hello,
I am Brian and unfortunately I cannot delete this rather longwinded tirade from Sharon M., so I have been forced to tell the accurate version of events.
I never did work for this woman. She discussed a job with me and I suggested that the information she was giving me was incorrect and would not be practical. She insisted that the measurements were good. At that point I told her she would be better served taking her business elsewhere, as I did not feel I could make her happy. No monies were ever exchanged and I certainly did not ask for any. Three weeks later she showed up at my office, without an appointment, and demanded to see her custom built furniture. I told her that we were not, and will not ever work for her and she got very belligerent. I asked her to leave and she carried on for several minutes. It was only after I repeatedly told her to leave, that she finally left. Her parting words were "you'll be sorry".
That's about the only truth that she has told. I am sorry that I ever met with her in the first place.
I have been in business for 23 years. I do not advertise. My business is solely to the design trade and I work by referral only, appointments required.
I only wish that one of my competitors would be lucky enough to have her as a client.
I learned many years ago that it is sometimes better to go with your gut, and walk away from a job. read more
