He helps patients set goals to improve their health and follows up on problems and goals each visit. Dr. George is very knowledgeable in internal medicine. He is also trained in pulmonary medicine. His knowledge and experience make him a excellent diagnostician. When required he prescribes tests to fully analyze an illness or condition, and integrates this information into effective treatment. He is very thoughtful and knowledgeable about the use of medication both for acute and chronic conditions. Dr. George is friendly and also has a sense of humor. In addition he is very open to constructive criticism of the operations of the practice, Valley Internal Medicine Associates (VIMA). Dr. George maintains and uses detailed electronic medical records. He is also very responsive to communications submitted via the practice's web portal. Dr. George is one of three physicians that operate the practice as a corporation. Dr. George is very supportive of the practice's goal to provide a broad set of medical services to adults. This allows immediate use of laboratory tests, x-rays, and the other diagnostic tools within a single visit to the office. He doesn't always prescribe things for every visit which I love because it it isn't absolutely necessary then I don't want to put it into my child's body. His wait times are a hit and miss sometimes, we've waited as little as 5 minutes and up to 45 minutes. I guess it depends on the day and the time. They accept walk ins which I really like since kids tend to get sick out of the blue. They're also open until 6! And on Saturdays which has been helpful more than once! 99% of his nurses are friendly, I've only gotten a bad vibe from one and that was on a Saturday visit when the staff is different. Besides that, everything here is great!

The front desk was why I would not recommend this place, especially with Angie. She is rude on the phone but nice in person. They are unorganized, rude, and condescending. I had issues with rescheduling and being told the right time. I had several times where they told me on the phone when the appointment was going to be rescheduled for but later find out that they reschedule for hours later or didn't actually reschedule. Also, they would forget to call you about canceling appointments.

What a terrible experience, these people don't care about their patients. We had an appointment at…read more11:45 and it is now 2pm they are finally seeing us and right as we start to explain what is wrong, the dr gets a phone call and leaves again. What a waste of time, total disrespect and disregard to the patient. This was the last straw, we just walked out, I don't expect a bill since there were no services rendered. I feel bad for those others waiting longer than us. To top things off, the excuse the front office had for the dr was unacceptable, saying the dr was an hour late to work. And for future reference to call and see if our appointment is still good? Who does that? The staff just like the dr are full of ****! Avoid this place
