Dr. Eitan Houri is simply the best vet I've ever been too, even the pets know it. He handles your…read morepet with love and is not a greedy, money grubbing doctor. My pet cat calmly left his office and did not seem sad, anxious or in pain. I love this guy and would recommend him in a flash. May God bless him for helping families get the care they need for their beloved pets.

This vet came recommended by an acquaintance and after seeing all the five-star reviews I decided…read moreto take my little Boston terrier rescue, Pepper to see him. This is a prime case of do not believe what you read and hear. This vet guilted me, frightened me and ultimately bullied me and charged me almost $1,000 for a simple checkup, a generic heartworm medication that I have never seen before, a 1-year rabies shot, a 1-year distemper and a lyme that I had no intention of getting until he frightened me so badly that I said yes. He refused to give me an itemized bill until after he did all of the procedures. He then told me that the extra shots for lyme required boosters but it was included in the price but that I would need to come back in 2 weeks. Although I did not want to because I already felt like I was taken advantage of, he said the medication would not work without a booster so I was forced to go. He charged me another $260 on top of the original $750 for the first visit. Then he lied and said he never said it and that I should go look at my receipt. He also told me after the fact that I had to pay in cash if I didn't want to pay a 6% fee on top of the bill. I have had dogs as an adult for 40 years. I have never had such a traumatizing experience where I felt so violated by a veterinarian. It is not just about the money, he did not have water, he did not have treats, and he did not check for certain things that a another vet definitely would have. Feel free to contact me for details about how I was treated by this vet. I would be happy to save anybody this amount of negativity and trauma. Very clean and friendly staff- can't take that away from them. But they are not very up front about…read morea couple things: 1) Pricing. They charge "per day." But really they mean "per date." My definition of a day is 24 hours. I dropped my two Great Danes off at 5 PM and picked up less than 24 hours later. I was charged $150. I asked if it was ever possible to be charged for a single day at all- they responded that only for "Doggie Day Care" is it possible for a dog to secure a one-day price. So, hypothetically speaking, if you dropped your dog off at 11:59 PM and picked up at 12:01 AM, they would call that "2 days." Called two other kennels before writing this review to make sure that wasn't industry standard. They said it was ridiculous. 2) I asked if they provided bedding, and they said they did. They knew I was boarding 2 Great Danes together in one kennel. They provided one raised bed for a medium sized dog. Would've been simple for me to provide my own had they just told me that. 3) They are open for two 2-hour windows per day, so plan carefully for pickup and drop off. I'm hoping that means "open-to-public" and they attend to the dogs more frequently then that, but I wouldn't put any bets down. Also, they told me a cash price over the phone that was not offered to me in person when I picked up. Not that I had the right amount on me anyway. I assumed, like a normal person would assume, that less than 24 hours fell in the "one day" pricing range. It's a shame. This kennel is near my house and I was looking forward to using them in the future. Nope.

I used Dog Guard in 2006 for my home in Westtown. When Emma was less than a year old she was running to and from the neighbor's house where I was chasing after her constantly. The final straw was the day that she came in contact with her future boyfriend Tully boy. I did not know that Tully boy was harmless at the time but it scared me enough that I ran all the way home and went right for the Yellow Pages. LITERALLY. True story. It was then that I had an opportunity to talk to Chris and about a week later he installed the invisible fence by Dog Guard around my 2-acre property. He also installed the monitor in the flower beds and in one room inside (where I fed the cats). The training only needed to be done once because the second time Emma wanted no part of it... She took one look at Chris and ran in the other direction.... Which means she got it from GetGo LOL not that I'm laughing really because it's sad to see your dog get zapped for the first time. But she never got zapped again. Once those yellow flags are up the dog wants no part of trying to go through them. Emma would always stay 5 to 10 feet away. Needless to say she never went through it except one time when I was on my bicycle and drove past the end of the driveway down the street. At that time though she didn't have the collar on. In her defense she was just probably a nervous wreck not wondering where I was going so she took the risk. She never wore the collar after about the first 6 months. She didn't need to. Most dogs don't. The first thing I will be doing is calling Chris to install another invisible fence after I get my next home and before I get my next dog. Note: over the years of having my dog fence I needed revisions from time to time because when I was cutting the hedges I sometimes accidentally cut the wires and Chris would have to come back. So really, he kind of became a family friend and a trustworthy source.

Great to deal with. I had an invisible fence installed by Chris and it's worked without problem…read more They are very professional, reasonable and pleasant to work with. Some time after the fence was put in someone accidentally damaged it, Chris was quick to respond and fix the fence for me. I definitely recommend working with them!
