We were looking to replace two mature trees we had removed due to disease. We called and made an…read moreappointment to come look at some trees. I was a little apprehensive when we first drove in as we weren't quite sure where to go (i.e. no "office") but we went to the house and knocked on the door and John was there to greet us. We let him know what we were looking for, a larger tree or two to replace our others. He asked if we had time to look at some trees and we did. John is quite the engaging man, and I liked him more and more with the time we spent. He took us in the 2.5 seater ATV and showed us his operation. He was very knowledgeable about the different trees, their histories, soil preferences, potential disease issues and landscaping use. I found him very knowledgeable and willing to share his information. As one review noted, he is very frank about advantages and disadvantages about different species. We spent about 2 hours with him, and selected two medium sized trees for delivery. Delivery is something you should be a little flexible on. Initially John came out and looked at the sites we had selected. He then took bore samples of the soil to see what type of soil we had and would the tree do well (no extra charge for this). For delivery, my husband did all the planning with John's son Alex. Alex called digger's hotline for us and then scheduled a delivery. As it was, the whole week before delivery it rained, and both John and Alex were concerned about the truck leaving deep ruts in our lawn, so they asked if we could put it off a week. Weren't too concerned about ruts, but since John and Alex were, and we were flexible we agreed. Day of delivery: we had our trees delivered on two different days. The first day Alex came out and delivered the first tree. He took time and care to make sure it was set well in the hole and the tree was straight. He took the plug for the next tree, and before leaving made sure the hole was covered and fenced off so no one could fall in it. Delivery of the second tree was smooth. Again, Alex took the time to be sure the tree was set properly in the hole and was straight. He took the time to review care instructions (also in detail on their website) and even looked at one of our other trees and gave me pruning recommendations. He was very polite and pleasant to work with. All in all we are very happy with Trees on Wheels. The owner and his son are very down to earth, they are up front and will be honest with you. They don't just try to sell you "a tree" like some nurseries do, they try to make sure you get the best tree for your property and soil type. If you go in with an open mind and enjoy learning about the trees you may purchase, this is the place to go. We will definitely be recommending them to our friends and family!

Very informative on our nursery tour, to the installation and after care. We choose an Independence Maple based on John's recommendation during our tour of the nursery in early May, Due to the ongoing rain season, our tree was relocated to our home in mid July ( pictured ) the entire process was enjoyed by our neighborhood and it was great to see how a tree being relocated to our property could make an impact with our neighbors and home , in addition to the welcomed shade we have been after for 10+ years. Alex just completed the winter care/wrapped trunk ( pictured ) and has been very responsive to our after care questions. I can not recommend Tree's on Wheels enough, these guys are doing fantastic work! A+

Id like to give a big appreciation shout out to   !!!…read more Twoguystrimming!!! For the past 3 days I have called everybody and I mean everybody possible to get this cat out of the top of the tree where he has been stuck and rained on for two days straight with no food or water. Today Two Guys Trimming, Inc. Took time out of their day to come and rescue this cat out of the top of the tree with their equipment. They were very respectful and respectful of the property and the grass and they were very fast at this ! They had to do multiple trips from Jefferson to Watertown just to help me . They did NOT charge me a dime for this cat. I know a couple people have asked about donations if you would like to donate please donate directly to them . They literally came and saved this cat. You can see in the video this cat wanted to get down so bad when he was up there that the cat was not even trying to run away from him even with the bucket going towards it. I cannot stress how much this means to me that they actually came and helped me when I didn't think there was any way possible to get him out after all of the calls I've made with no success these last 3 days. I have now taken the cat to the Watertown Humane Society and we have named him Willow after the tree lol . But now he will be somewhere warm and be with people that can take care of him until hopefully he goes to his forever home. That cat really had a rough three days up there with non-stop crying and rain with no shelter. I am forever thankful. I was literally getting so frustrated because I have called everywhere for the past 3 days Non-Stop and it was all dead ends. I do wish there was somewhere you could call for incidents like this but thankful to these two guys for saving the day!! Please give these two guys and their fb page some recognition!!!! They deserve it!!!

Today I received a bill with a $20 charge for blowing the grass clippings off of my yard because it wasn't cut for 9 days and it was long. Not my fault, they cut the grass on their schedule.
