Jordan Scott Gilbert is the youngest Award Winning Broadway Producer and Performer in Broadway Theatrical history (3 TONY AWARD and DRAMA LEAGUE AWARD Nominations / DRAMA DESK AWARD (Ghost), the first ever recipient of the BROADWAY PRODUCER OF THE YEAR AWARD), and has worked with some of the most successful actors, singers, writers, composers, directors, and producers in the world. He is the President of his own independent production and casting company, representing Film, Television, and Theatrical productions worldwide.
Jordan Co-Produced the 3-Time Tony® Award nominated and Drama Desk Award winning Broadway production of GHOST THE MUSICAL with Paramount Pictures, for which he was named the first ever BROADWAY PRODUCER OF THE YEAR by Examiner and Broadway Global, and has received a Drama League award nomination, among other honors. GHOST was directed by Tony® Award winner Matthew Warchus with music and lyrics written by multiple Grammy® Award winners Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard, with a book by Academy® Award winner Bruce Joel Rubin. He also Co-Produced Stephen Schwartz's London revival of PIPPIN, starring Tony® Award Winner Frances Ruffelle.
As an actor and singer, Jordan recently performed at The Mark Hellinger Theatre (TSC) on Broadway in OUTSIDE THE INN, THE PROMISE, THE WITNESS, IN THE GAP, and Produced, Co-Wrote, Directed, and Starred in the acclaimed Off-Broadway production of THE PHANTOM OF THE IMPROV. Jordan has appeared in several notable stage, film, and television projects, including celebrity-studded charity events for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, as well as performances at Broadway's Lincoln Center, Minskoff Theatre, Imperial Theatre, Studio 54 Below, United Nations, and many other notable venues. At 6 years old, Jordan became known as "THE MIZ KID" in publicity for the original Broadway National Tour of LES MISERABLES, in which he subsequently played several roles in future premieres of the show.
Other credits include THE TONY® AWARDS on CBS, DISNEY'S THEY SPOKE OUT: AMERICAN VOICES AGAINST THE HOLOCAUST, BALL BOY, WE ARE LIGHTS starring Tony® and Grammy® Award winner Melba Moore and Actor's Equity President Nick Wyman, PEACE AQUA starring Andrea McArdle, and SHOWBIZ TALK with numerous Academy®/Tony®/Grammy® Award winners. Jordan first served as assistant to the lead producer on the Broadway musical A TALE OF TWO CITIES, directed by Tony® Award winner Warren Carlyle and designed by multiple Academy® and Tony® Award winner Tony Walton. Jordan received a BFA in Musical Theatre and as an Acting and Vocal coach, he has worked successfully with artists, from novices to major celebrities, as well as serving as a creative consultant on many top industry projects. read more
