The counter is half bakery ( muffins, brownies, etc.). and half deli (sandwiches, pizza, etc.). Cases of drinks and stands of candy and chips comprise the rest of the store. I credit them with knowing their audience. Being in a train station, they get passengers, tourists from the nearby hotels, and workers who need/want these particular food items. And cigarettes, snus, and such, behind the counter.

The staff are very friendly, smiling and wanting to assist. Sweden is basically a cashless society. Expect to use credit or debit cards just about anywhere you purchase things.

This place has the coolest snacks and other things to eat along with amazing sweets. It is a 7-11 like an American has never seen. I've been in them in Japan, but they pale in comparison to the Swedish concept. It is like MacDonalds in France, a completely different beast with nothing in common with what we see stateside.

For 4 straight days when we were in Stockholm we visited this location every single day and were greeted by the amazing Jacob every single day. He gave us recommendations on local attractions, what beverages we should try, and what snacks to purchase to understand what snacks were popular! He was easily the highlight of our trip as we chatted Game of Thrones, Avengers and got amazing recommendations. Also the location is awesome and the food is amazing. If I were to return to Stockholm, this would be the first place I go back to! (Then probably the ABBA Museum!)

I mainly use this place when I do not really have the energy to head to NK's or Åhlen's food stores, the assortment is of course much smaller here but the location is convenient and the service is usually rather fast. It is however too small and poorly planned to really be given a higher rating. Granted they do have a small space to use but I am convinced it could be done better. Nonetheless it is great to have a grocery store here and while smaller than the Coop at the other main entrance to the station this is still perhaps a notch better just because it is ICA. They carry most of the stuff one would need and while the assortment is not huge it is still good for the location.

Go further in and you will discover a fairly well-equipped store that has more or less everything you might need - and some more. Frozen food, produce, dairy products, meat, hygiene products - it's all there. Service in the cashiers is extremely fast and efficient but they have recently added the ability to do your own scan of the goods at a cash register and pay by card (unsure about cash). It's located next to Pressbyrån (the convenience store) and close to the supermarket Hemköp. But I find myself returning here; it's cheaper than it's neighbor and service is much faster than the perpetual lines at Hemköp.
